The CIT, also known as the guilty knowledge test [GKT], is used in criminal investigations to examine whether a person recognizes crime-relevant information that innocent people would not know. In the CIT, an examiner presents several items to an examinee, one of which is a crime-relevant item. The items are selected such that innocent examinees would not be able to distinguish the crime-relevant(critical) item from the crime-irrelevant(non-critical) items. Each item is presented once in a block and this block is repeated several times in different presentation orders. During the CIT, the examiner records physiological responses to the items. In the case that the responses do not differ between the critical and non-critical items, the examiner would infer that the examinee does not recognize the critical item. On the other hand, in the case that the responses differ between the critical and non-critical items, the examiner would infer that the examinee recognizes the critical item. 1, record 1, English, - concealed%20information%20test

2, record 1, French, - test%20de%20la%20connaissance%20coupable

Companion diagnostic tests are essential for effective personalized medicine. A complimentary diagnostic, on the other hand, still provides valuable information about whether or not a treatment might be beneficial, but it is not required for the administration of the drug. For a complimentary diagnostic test, the associated drug is safe and effective for a broader section of patients, as opposed to a companion diagnostic associated drug, which is only intended for patients that meet a specific threshold or result from the test. Complimentary diagnostics might apply to a class of drugs, as opposed to providing guidance on a specific drug alone. 2, record 2, English, - complementary%20diagnostic%20test

A test designed to reproduce pain originating in the cervical spine. With the patient sitting, the examiner places one hand across the other on the top of the patient's head with gradually increased downward pressure. If radicular pain or paresthesias with referral to the upper limb occur with the head compression test, it strongly suggests nerve root irritation. On the other hand, if the pain remains in the neck, soft tissues or joints appear as the pain-sensitive structures involved. 2, record 4, English, - head%20compression%20test

A test which determines if there exists irritation or compression of nerve root, dural root sleeve fibrosis or adhesions, foraminal encroachment, or adjacent joint capsule thickening and adhesions. The examiner stands beside the patient who tilts the head to one side. With one of the examiner's hands on the patient's shoulder and the other hand on the patient's head, the examiner exerts downward pressure on the patient's shoulder and lateral flexion pressure on the patient's head in the opposite direction. This test places a tug on the nerve roots; with root sleeve fibrosis, foraminal osteophytes, or adhesions, radicular pain or paresthesias often result. 2, record 5, English, - shoulder%20depression%20test

With his right hand he increases the valgus pressure, placing the fingers on the patella and the thumb behind the fibular head..., while simultaneously pulling the upper tibia forward. A test used in the examination of patients with cervical spine syndromes. This test should be done with the patient seated; the open palm of the examiner's hand should be placed under the patient's chin while the examiner's other hand goes under the patient's occiput; gradually the force of lifting the patient's head increases, removing the weight of the skull and distracting the foramina, discs, and joints. Nerve root compression may be relieved, with disappearance of symptoms with opening of the intervertebral foramina or extension of the disc spaces, Additionally, pressure on joint capsules of apophyseal joints diminishes with head distraction. 2, record 13, English, - head%20distraction%20test

Audiometry provides a more precise measurement of hearing. Air conduction is tested by wearing earphones attached to the audiometer. Pure tones of controlled intensity are delivered to one ear at a time. The patient is asked to raise a hand, press a button, or otherwise indicate when he hears a sound. The minimum intensity(volume) required to hear each tone is graphed. 3, record 32, French, - test%20de%20compression
