It is costly to move grain. In an average year, grain handling and transportation services in Canada may cost more than $445 million. Because of the high cost, and the need to ensure that Canada's producers receive the maximum amount of money possible for their grain, governments have played a major role in determining the cost of moving Canadian grain. Rail tariffs are established by legislation : maximum primary, terminal and transfer elevator tariffs are set by a government agency, the Canadian Grain Commission. 1, record 5, English, - rail%20tariff

1, record 5, French, - tarif%20ferroviaire

When a fish species grown in commercial fish farms is also present in the natural environment, there is an obvious danger of poaching... A solution to the problem is to find a specific marker that can load to a quick and easy discrimination between legal farm-raised fish and illegal wild fish. For the purpose of marketing, the chosen marker should be non toxic, inexpensive to use and easily analysed with reliable results. Nutritional marking appears to fulfill at least the first two conditions. There are several advantages in using nutritional markers for fish...(1) the fish are not stressed by unnecessary handling;(2) once the special marking feed is prepared, there is no additional labor or other cost involved in this technique... 1, record 6, English, - nutritional%20marking

A variation of the CVT [continuously variable transmission] is the IVT or toroidal transmission, where a pair of rollers rotate between an input and an output disc. Modifying the angle of the rollers changes the gear ratio. This transmission system is capable of handling higher torque while providing greater driving comfort and faster gear ratio changes. However, it is limited by disadvantages such as increased cost, installation space, and weight. Low Temperature Thermal Desorption (LTTD) is an Ex-Situ means of physically separating volatile and semi-volatile organic contaminants from soils. Contaminated soil is placed in a chamber, and heated to volatilize the associated hydrocarbons. The exhaust gases containing the hydrocarbons are consumed in an oxidizing unit and are subsequently cooled and passed through a baghouse to remove particulate matter. The treated soil can then be returned to the original excavation site as clean backfill. 2, record 12, English, - low%20temperature%20thermal%20desorption
