One approach to dealing with risky or uncertain outcomes is to adopt some arbitrary cut-off(or pay-back) period. In the case of extremely risky projects the cut-off period might be as short as two or three years; in other cases it might be as long as thirty to fifty years. This strategy toward handling risk or uncertainty would result in the adoption of only those projects capable of generating(discounted) benefits prior to the cut-off sufficient to more than cover(discounted) project costs. 2, record 3, English, - cut%2Doff%20period

[The] most significant development in family value is the flight operational commonality, shared by Airbus A320 and A330/A340 families, covering aircraft from 100 to 440 seats in capacity. The ten aircraft in these families have the same flight deck and the same operational qualities—electronic instrument displays, controls, routine and emergency procedures, task sharing—plus very similar flight handling characteristics... The benefits to airlines and pilots are exceptional : easier transitioning from one aircraft type to another through cross crew qualification; multi-type qualifications, enabling mixed fleet flying; greater mobility and productivity for pilots; savings in operating costs that can amount to millions of dollars every year. 1, record 4, English, - operational%20commonality

"delivered ex quay" means that the seller delivers when the goods are placed at the disposal of the buyer not cleared for import on the quay (wharf) at the named port of destination. The seller has to bear costs and risks involved in bringing the goods to the named port of destination and discharging the goods on the quay (wharf). The DEQ term requires the buyer to clear the goods for import and to pay for all formalities, duties, taxes and other charges upon import. This is a reversal from previous Incoterms versions which required the seller to arrange for import clearance. 4, record 5, English, - delivered%20ex%20quay

delivered ex quay : This term can only be used when the goods are to be delivered by sea or inland waterway or multimodal transport on discharging from a vessel onto the quay(wharf) in the port of destination. However, if the parties wish to include in the seller's obligations the risks and costs of the handling of the goods from the quay to another place(warehouse, terminal, transport station, etc.) in or outside the port, the DDU or DDP terms should be used. 4, record 5, English, - delivered%20ex%20quay

2, record 5, French, - rendu%20%C3%A0%20quai

As information is stored in one place only and is automatically transferred without manual intervention, it is possible to achieve the target of zero errors. The "scale-less site" has changed the site structure and procedures so that they fit into an efficient design process. 3-D design permits the correct amounts of building materials to be delivered in the exact form to the site or site factory for efficient assembly. Producers receive an initial payment when they deliver grain to a primary elevator. The level of this initial payment is set by the Canadian Government and is a government-guaranteed price to the producer. The initial payment for each pool account is usually set at what is regarded as a "safe" level and varies from year-to-year according to market conditions.... The net value of grain in each pool account is determined after all grain has been sold and all costs involved in marketing have been deducted. These costs include interest, insurance, storage, terminal elevators handling charges, and the Board's own operating costs. They do not include rail freight costs from primary elevators to terminals or primary elevator handling charges. These costs are deducted from producers’ initial payment when grain is delivered. 1, record 13, English, - producers%26rsquo%3B%20initial%20payment

1, record 13, French, - acompte%20vers%C3%A9%20au%20producteur

Executive suites are very common in most U. S. cities and may include an inexpensive marketing package to help you develop a local corporate image. These suites offer economic overhead through pooled secretarial support, office space, photocopying, mail handling and telephone answering services. Telephones are answered with your firm's name and you pay a monthly rental and phone answering fee plus additional charges for specific services used or furniture rented. Costs of these services vary by region and by size of space. You are usually free to move within the building as your space needs change. You will probably find it more economical to open your own office once you have more than five staff on site. 1, record 17, English, - executive%20suite
