Located on the eastern shore of Sydney Harbour in the former city of Sydney..., the Tar Ponds form a tidal estuary at the mouth of Muggah Creek, a freshwater stream that empties into the harbour. Over the last century, runoff from coke ovens associated with Sydney Steel Corporation's(SYSCO) now-decommissioned steel mill filled the estuary with a variety of coal-based contaminants and sludge. 4, record 4, English, - Sydney%20Tar%20Ponds

2, record 4, French, - %C3%A9tangs%20de%20goudron%20de%20Sydney
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 OBS

8, record 4, French, - %C3%A9tangs%20de%20goudron%20de%20Sydney
