A rigid robot is a system explicitly designed to control motion or flow by overcoming the torque or effort reflected back by its load or task. This means for rigid actuation to be suitable, the task must be able to accept flow, or in other words, the task must be an impedance ... Most environments, however, are admittances not impedances. They are kinematically constrained inertial objects that define flow and accept only effort ... Therefore for a robot to effectively interact with its environment it must control effort, this is defined in the literature as "force control." 1, record 18, English, - rigid%20robot

Kidney stones are hard, pebble-like pieces of material that form in one or both of your kidneys when high levels of certain minerals are in your urine.... Kidney stones vary in size and shape. They may be as small as a grain of sand or as large as a pea. Rarely, some kidney stones are as big as golf balls. Kidney stones may be smooth or jagged and are usually yellow or brown. A small kidney stone may pass through your urinary tract on its own, causing little or no pain. A larger kidney stone may get stuck along the way. A kidney stone that gets stuck can block your flow of urine, causing severe pain or bleeding. 2, record 36, English, - kidney%20stone

The development of a neutrally buoyant groundline was undertaken to reduce the probability of large whale entanglements. The resulting product maintained a much lower profile in the water column compared to traditional groundlines[, ] but in hard bottom areas it was susceptible to chaffing and breaking. In order to reduce mortalities once large whales are entangled, a weak rope was developed, again with the addition of barium sulphate. The breaking strength of this product was 1, 065 pounds,... half the weight of traditional groundlines. 3, record 76, English, - groundline

Freshly harvested "green" wild rice is invariably on the damp side. It must commence drying, or "curing, "almost immediately, or souring and mold will develop, especially in broken or crushed grains. Another purpose of the curing period is to give the immature grains a chance to ripen. Given this opportunity, a good number of the soft grains will get hard and gain the dark brown or black color of a ripe grain. 2, record 86, English, - green%20wild%20rice

Though it's often compared to vodka and soda, hard seltzer is definitely not that. It doesn’t contain vodka or any other distilled spirit but is instead produced in a similar manner to beer. The basic concept is that a little sugar is added to carbonated water(seltzer), which is then fermented by introducing yeast so that the sugars are converted into alcohol. This is then often infused with natural or artificial flavor. Of course, each brand has their own methods. Some use barley(labeled as a malt beverage) or another fermentable base, such as rice. 4, record 91, English, - hard%20seltzer
