The agreement provided for the creation of the Atlantic Provinces Special Education Authority and authorized it to provide educational services, programs, and opportunities for persons from birth to 21 years of age with low incidence sensory impairments. This includes children and youth who are deaf, deaf-blind, hard of hearing, blind, or visually impaired and who are residence of Atlantic Canada. The APSEA Agreement is the only one of its kind in Canada, and such, may serve as a model for service delivery at a regional level. Contraction capsulaire. 1, record 7, French, - %C3%A9tape%20de%20Baker

A urethane is formed from the reaction of an isocyanate with an alcohol. In general, polyurethanes are made using a diisocyanate, a low molecular weight diol(thermoplastic) and/or triol(cross-linked), and a polyether glycol or a polyester glycol. If the reagents are difunctional, a non cross-linked thermoplastic polyurethane will be formed; if the functionality of at least one of the reagents is greater than two, a cross-linked or three dimensional network will form. Cross-linked polyurethanes exhibit less mechanical creep than non cross-linked polyurethanes. The rubbery modulus of polyurethanes increases as the level of cross-linking is increased. Polyurethanes are diblock copolymers. Contact leaching paint, also known as hard-racing or long-life paints, are also free-association types but have an insoluble matrix. Continuous biocide release is generated by the high biocide concentration ensuring that biocide particles contact each other through the paint film. As surface biocide is released, microchannels are created which permit release of biocide from deeper in the coating. Biocide release rates decrease exponentially with time and effective life is again limited to periods rarely exceeding 18 months. 3, record 10, English, - contact%20leaching%20antifouling%20paint

Eco-tourism and adventure tourism are closely aligned but they are often differentiated in two ways. One difference is the degree of risk involved in the activities. Many people, for example, would call a snowboarding holiday more of an adventure than an eco-tourism experience because of the higher degree of risk. Another distinction is linked to the level of motorized transportation involved. Adventure tourism may make use of vehicles such as snowmobiles or helicopters for heli-skiing. While these are common distinctions, there are no hard rules for differentiating the two. Some activities could be labeled as adventure tourism, eco-tourism, recreation and outdoor pursuits at the same time. Indeed, some people may view biking through the mountains as adventure tourism while others might call it eco-tourism because they are out in nature enjoying the spring wildflowers. 3, record 13, English, - adventure%20tourism

2, record 13, French, - tourisme%20d%27aventure

The term applied to the phenomenon which occurs when an output signal is limited in some way by the full range of an amplifier, analog-to-digital converter(ADC) or other device. When this occurs, the signal is flattened a the peak values, the signal approaches the shape of a square wave, and high frequency components are introduced. Clipping may be hard, as is the case when the signal is strictly limited at some level; or it may be soft, in which case the clipping signal continues to follow the input at some reduced gain. 1, record 18, English, - clipping
