A non-visible disability is a disability or health condition that is not immediately obvious. It can defy stereotypes of what people might think disabled people look like.... Some "non-visible" conditions are visible or obvious sometimes. Also, they can be "seen" by some people who might have a better understanding of the condition. But they are not usually visible to others.... some people with non-visible disabilities might have a "dynamic disability. "This means that sometimes they might use a mobility aid, but other times they might not need it. Likewise, sometimes they might need to use a priority seat on busy public transport. Other times they may not feel they need to. 5, record 3, English, - non%2Dapparent%20disability

Control and ownership of the surveys rest with First Nations under a National Steering Committee that includes representatives from regional and national First Nations organizations. Core subjects include children's health, health services, tobacco use, medical conditions(including diabetes), disability, residential schools, wellness and dental health. 1, record 38, French, - Enqu%C3%AAtes%20r%C3%A9gionales%20sur%20la%20sant%C3%A9

SPPs... are contracts under which the employer, alone or in conjunction with the employee, makes contributions to provide the employee with a retirement income and other benefits(death and sometimes disability). The results of epidemiological studies obviously depend on the comparisons made between the cases and control groups used. If the groups are not well matched, the results will not be meaningful. For this reason cases and control groups may be matched for age, sex and race, as well as lifestyle factors like smoking and alcohol consumption. Occupational groups very often have lower total mortality than the general population as the latter includes people unable to work due to illness or disability. In other words, any group of workers is likely to be more healthy than the population as a whole, a phenomenon known as the "healthy worker effect. Alternative Information Content is "equivalent" to other content when both fulfill essentially the same function or purpose upon presentation to the user. Equivalent alternatives play an important role in accessible authoring practices since certain types of content may not be accessible to all users(e. g., video, images, audio, etc.. Authors are encouraged to provide text equivalents for non-text content since text may be rendered as synthesized speech for individuals who have visual or learning disabilities, as Braille for individuals who are blind, or as graphical text for individuals who are deaf or do not have a disability. Text equivalents for audio clips are called "text transcripts". Captions are essential text equivalents for movie audio. Another essential text equivalent for a movie is a "collated text transcript.
