For those without sea legs, river cruises have the advantage of smooth trekking, shallow waters and the gift of land that's always in sight. Lastly, most river cruises offer inclusive value, meaning your Wi-Fi, water, alcohol and included excursions are covered in the price. However, ocean cruises tend to offer more upscale amenities, like fitness centers, multiple dining options and a variety of live entertainment. 1, record 1, English, - river%20cruise

The rack deadlift is a partial version of the conventional deadlift. You perform it inside a power rack with pins set so that the bar is located just above the knees. It is an excellent exercise for beginners–you don’t have to use a full ROM [range of movement], and having the rack is like using a spotter. Deadlifts from a racked position emphasize your low back muscles, because you won’t be bending as low and thereby incorporating your legs. Use this exercise to help strengthen the low back specifically or if you want to attempt heavier weights than you can lift from the floor. 3, record 7, English, - power%20rack%20deadlift

Soon a more sturdy doctrine was fashioned. It was called "last clear chance", "last opportunity" or "ultimate negligence". The seminal case was Davies v. Mann where the plaintiff negligently left his donkey on the highway with its legs tied. The defendant drove his wagon and horses negligently into the animal and killed it. Liability was imposed on the defendant, despite the contributory negligence of the plaintiff, because according to Lord Abinger the defendant might have avoided the animal with proper care. The case was later explained on the ground that the defendant was held totally responsible because he had the "last opportunity of avoiding the accident". Another rationale of the case rested on causation theory; where the defendant could have avoided the accident, he, and not the plaintiff, was the sole cause of it.... The best explanation of the last clear chance theory was that it was a technique for imposing liability on the defendant, when his negligence was relatively greater than the plaintiff's. 1, record 14, English, - last%20clear%20chance

3, record 17, French, - avalement

The Stewart platform consists of two plates connected by six mobile and extensible legs. The lower or base plate is immobile. The upper or mobile plate has six degrees of freedom, three rotational and three translational. The platform is highly stable and easy to control. The platform's six legs each have two parts, an upper and a lower leg, with a piston-like cylindrical DoF between each pair of parts. The legs are connected to the base plate and the top plate by universal joints at each end of each leg.(These universals are not just sets of abstract DoFs. Each also contains a spider-like body, while also having two DoFs.) The upper part of each leg can slide into and out of the lower leg, allowing each leg to be varied in length. The position and orientation of the mobile platform(top plate) varies depending on the lengths to which the six legs are separately adjusted. Once the top is connected to the legs, the entire Stewart platform assembly has 36 DoFs. Only six DoFs are independent, the same as the top plate would have if it were disconnected. You can think of these independent DoFs as the six adjustable leg lengths or as equivalent to the six DoFs of the mobile plate. 2, record 26, English, - Stewart%20platform

Advantages and disadvantages of certain materials. Whipcord is made for laborers, postmen, milkmen, and such and will not get wet with the first raindrops. Corduroy, on the other hand, soaks up moisture too easily and is not very durable. Wool will remain warm even when drenched and is the best answer for outdoor wear. You may consider lederhosen, leather pants imported from the Alps. The knicker length variety, though expensive, are a good investment because rocks will not tear them. Non-waterproof nylon wind pants are useful to wear over other trousers in windy, frigid areas and when climbing extensively above timberline. Wind pants should be loose-fitting and have a drawstring around the ankles to prevent wind from blowing up the legs. Rain pants in waterproof fabric are of some value in wet, brushy areas, but in general the lack of ventilation makes these pants unsatisfactory. A light pair of cotton pants may be used as extras for hot weather, but are no substitute for wool pants in cold weather. 7, record 35, English, - climbing%20pants

"The Wall. "It evades easy definition, but to borrow from Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart's famous definition of obscenity, you know it when you see it-or rather, hit it. It usually happens around mile 20, give or take a couple of miles. Your pace slows, sometimes considerably. Some runners say that it feels as though their legs had been filled with lead quail shot... Others can’t feel their feet at all. Thought processes become a little fuzzy... Muscle coordination goes out the window, and self-doubt casts a deep shadow over the soul.... Even if you’re racing at a reasonable pace and you’ve done a good job of carboloading in the days before the marathon, you still have only about 2, 000 calories worth of glycogen stored in the muscles and liver; that's about enough to get you to-surprise!-mile 20. If you manage to deplete your glycogen reserves, say hello to The Wall. 3, record 38, English, - wall

Pityriasis rosea. Oval or round, tannish pink or salmon colored, scaling papules and plaques appear rapidly over the trunk, neck, upper arms, and legs. Several features of this self-limited papulosquamous condition are unique. The generalized eruption is preceded by a single lesion, termed the "herald patch, "that is commonly misdiagnosed as "ringworm. "The patch can occur anywhere but often appears on the neck or lower trunk area and precedes the general rash by several days to a week. The oval patches have an unusual fine, white scale located near the border of the plaques, forming a collarette. The lesions follow skin cleavage lines, in a pattern likened to a Christmas tree. The condition spontaneously involutes in 1 to 2 months. 1, record 47, English, - pityriasis%20rosea

When a child presents with severe flexible flatfoot one should rule out an underlying neuromuscular disorder and perform a complete biomechanical evaluation to ascertain any rotational or angular conditions of the legs that might influence the treatment. If a child is in... group III(ages 13 to 17) adolescent usually has the additional problem of a forefoot varus, which must be controlled using a forefoot post.
