The direct victim is the person who is unlawfully killed, disappeared, injured, assaulted, robbed, tortured, et cetera. Indirect victims are those who are linked to direct victims in such a way that they too suffer as a result of that relationship, such as family members of the direct victim. Secondary victims are persons who have suffered harm in intervening to assist victims in distress or witnessed the victimization. Tertiary victims refer to community members. Blackfishing describes the process of manipulating and altering one's appearance to look like one belongs to a different race – namely, a non-Black person appearing as if they are Black or have Black heritage.... Blackfishing's name is reminiscent of catfishing, which is the act of faking one's online profile and pretending to be a different person. In a similar way, blackfishing is taking on the stereotyped aesthetics of a Black person and using those selective elements to often look mixed-race, Black or racially ambiguous. 3, record 2, English, - Blackfishing

Individual shingles on the sidewall have several advantages over using pre-made shingle panels. The biggest plus is that the shingles are nailed to the underlayment, not glued. There is no way to have glue failure. The individually nailed shingles are much easier to do repairs on, should that be necessary. It is fairly simple to remove a few ruined shingles and slip in new ones to fix the damage. With the prepared panels, the entire panel(or possibly more) panel units must be removed and replaced as it is possible to remove and replace the individual shingles on the panels. An additional plus factor for individual shingles is that they are normally installed with three thickness’... On most panels the shingles are 12" long and there are two thickness’ of shingles as the shingles are usually exposed 6". This means that individual shingle construction gives more protection to the underlayment. Increased shingle thickness also increases the insulation factor on the wall surface. 2, record 5, English, - individual%20shingle

The shoeboxsized spectrophotometer-called MAESTRO(Measurements of Aerosol Extinction in the Stratosphere and Troposphere Retrieved by Occultation)-is the most advanced in a long line of MSC instruments that have flown on balloons, high-altitude research aircraft and space shuttle missions over the past 10 years. MAESTRO and other spectrophotometers operate on the principle that different gases absorb different wavelengths of light, ranging from short, ultraviolet(UV) rays to long, near-infrared ones. Each gas, therefore, has its own "fingerprint" or distinct spectrum of absorption. This makes it possible to identify which gases are present from changes in the brightness of sunlight at different wavelengths between light coming directly from the Sun and light that has passed through the atmosphere on the way to the spectrophotometer. Ozone, for example, absorbs UV light and is, therefore, essential to preventing high levels of these rays from reaching the Earth's surface. As the Sun rises and sets, its rays slice through different layers of the atmosphere and out into space. MAESTRO will be equipped with more than 2000 separate detectors record the full spectrum of wavelengths emitted by direct sunlight and by sunlight travelling through these layers. These data will then be analyzed to provide precise measurements of gases and aerosol particles at different heights in the atmosphere. SCISAT-1 will orbit the Earth 15 times a day at a height of 650 kilometres, allowing MAESTRO to take measurements of 30 sunrises and sunsets every 24 hours. 3, record 8, English, - spectrophotometer%20MAESTRO

2, record 8, French, - spectrophotom%C3%A8tre%20MAESTRO
Record number: 8, Textual support number: 2 CONT
2, record 8, French, - spectrophotom%C3%A8tre%20MAESTRO

Planimetric control. Segmentation is sometimes a ground step for correlation which approximates regions by plans, thus we have studied a way to control in 2D the planimetric differences between a reference and a segmentation outline. Various distances have been used for this purpose : Haussdorf distance from segmentation boundaries to reference ones seem to be the most appropriate. A recovering surface quality estimator has been tried and we have computed the ratio between intersection and union with respect to the both areas. This method will be used on many test sites. 1, record 9, English, - planimetric%20control
