2, record 1, French, - cadre%20s%C3%A9mantique%20casuel

Actinide co-conversion is a key step, between fuel reprocessing, and refabrication. Two processes are being developed, to produce a solid actinide compound, at the head of the fabrication line, having practically the right, desired preform : these are the sol–gel process, using internal gelation, to form spherical actinide kernels(coated particle concept) ; andoxalic coprecipitation, to form a solid solution of actinides(pellet, or cylindrical pellet concept). 2, record 3, English, - actinide%20co%2Dconversion

In August, 2007, the Settlement Workers in Schools(SWIS) program sponsored a pilot project to prepare newly arrived youth for entry to eight(8) high schools in Ontario. Called Newcomer Orientation Week or NOW, this intensive orientation initiative was piloted in six(6) high schools in Toronto, one(1) in Peel Region and one(1) in Hamilton. The NOW program was strategically positioned to occur just prior to the beginning of the school year. In NOW, former newcomer students are trained to lead the activities with the newly arrived students. The overall concept of NOW is that newcomer youth begin to feel more comfortable in the school setting and, if they run into difficulties, know how to get support-from PLs, teachers and/or SWIS workers. The overall goal of NOW is : To give newcomer youth a head start in their new school by familiarizing them with the school building and routines, linking them to students already attending the school, and orienting them to sources of help as well as the “culture” of the Ontario educational system. 1, record 4, English, - Newcomer%20Orientation%20Week

1, record 4, French, - Semaine%20d%27orientation%20des%20nouveaux%20arrivants

Thermal ink-transfer printers have found applications in many fields due to their small size, quiet operation, high-quality printing, and low maintenance. The recording medium of these printers is hot-melt ink coated on a film substrate. Thermal energy from the print head causes the ink to melt and transfer to the paper. This design makes the print quality highly dependent on the properties of the ink.(Term and concept taken from the INSPEC data base). 2, record 11, English, - hot%2Dmelt%20ink
