A test used to diagnose benign paroxysmal positional vertigo (BPPV) that consists of a series of head, neck, and body movements that reproduce the vertigo sensation.

The Dix-Hallpike test is typically performed in a doctor's office. The doctor will ask you to sit upright on an exam table with your legs stretched out in front of you and your head turned to one side. They will then ask you to lower your head and torso back so that you end up lying with your head stretched off the edge of the exam table, turned with one ear down at a 45-degree angle. If there are misplaced calcium deposits(also called canaliths) in the posterior canal of your inner ear, this will trigger vertigo symptoms.

Benign positional paroxysmal vertigo (BPPV) is one of the most common causes of vertigo. The Dix-Hallpike maneuver is the gold standard test used to diagnose BPPV, which is crucial in confirming posterior canal BPPV.

The flame detector head is mounted on a 1" sight pipe which provides an unobstructed view of the flame inside the horn.

This fibre optic viewing head extension is particularly useful for solving the sighting problems associated with tilting or movable burners. The flame envelope from this type of burner can be tilted from a horizontal position up or down as much as 30 degrees. It would be impossible to follow this flame pattern with a fixed sighting through the wind-box. Welding the tip guide(lens end) of this viewing head extension to the movable air compartment nozzle solves this problem. This viewing head extension can also be used for those applications where it is impossible to find a clear unobstructed view of the flame using a standard sight pipe. Here again the viewing head extension is mounted inside the furnace for a clear unobstructed view of the flame.

Filter Fabric Soil Retention Test.... a laboratory test to evaluate the ability of filter fabrics to act as silt curtains or fences. The test apparatus consists of two plastic tanks... with one end of each tank being open and capable of holding the fabric to be tested in a fixed and vertical position. One tank is filled with water and given a dry weight of soil from the site of the proposed construction. After a prescribed mixing procedure the soil-water suspension is allowed to pass through the fabric separating the two tanks. Hydrometer analyses are used to evaluate the weight of soil in each tank and thereby the percent of soil passing the fabric. Head differentials allow for calculation of the velocities involved for repeated trials.
