2, record 1, French, - d%C3%A9magn%C3%A9tiseur

The curtain coater comes in two types :(1) pressure head and(2) gravity feed. The pressure head is essentially a V-shaped reservoir made airtight by a removable cover and fitted across the bottom with an adjustable gap. A variable-speed, positive-displacement pump sends adhesive into the reservoir. Spread control is determined by the width of the knife gap, the pump speed, and the viscosity of the glue... The gravity feed system is the forerunner of the pressure head. The application method is quite similar, with one important difference : the curtain velocity cannot be controlled. The curtain falls as a waterfall, the weight controlled by mass and height. 1, record 9, English, - curtain%20coater

Regardless of the style, all heads can be fitted with parison programming. A parison programmer is a device that can change the gap or relationship between the head tooling die and mandrel while the parison is extruded. Thus, the wall thickness of the parison is changed and becomes ringed with sections of thinner and thicker material. These "rings" are located to correspond to specific sections of the bottle or blow-molded part where the part thickness may be too thin or too thick. For many blow-molded parts, parison programming has the potential of reducing part weight and cost while improving performance and strength. 3, record 11, English, - parison%20programming
