A stone sculpture that is shaped to look like a body or person and has spiritual meaning with practices related to it.

The Inuit also construct a stone figure called an inunnguaq, which means "in the likeness of a human. "This familiar stone figure with head, body, legs and arms is often mistakenly referred to as an inuksuk. Its purpose is more symbolic than functional.

A dop which holds a diamond in place while its table is being polished.

There are dops especially for polishing tables, the so-called soap dops. They have a soft copper stalk and on the sides of the head a clamp to hold the small hollow metal pots. Nowadays the soap is replaced by special products, either pastes which stay soft or liquids which harden when the stone is heated while running on the wheel.
