Saskatchewan Water Corporation(SaskWater) is a wholly-owned subsidiary of CIC which was established in 1984. In 2002, the new SaskWater was established with the proclamation of The Saskatchewan Water Corporation Act(2002). Through this Act, SaskWater became a fully commercial Crown corporation providing water, wastewater and related services to municipal, industrial, government and domestic customers in the province. Water resource management activities were transferred to the new Saskatchewan Watershed Authority. SaskWater's headquarters is in Moose Jaw. SaskWater owns and operates 23 regional water supply systems, five municipal water treatment systems, two wastewater treatment systems and four irrigation projects. The Justice Annex is a building just north of the Supreme Court of Canada and west of Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada. Built in 1940 it is the last surviving representative of many similar temporary buildings erected during the Second World War to house the rapidly growing number of government employees.
