The Long Term Care Facilities Survey is a new [survey], similar [to the Residential Care Facility Survey, conducted by Statistics Canada]... it is financed by Health Canada, the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Canadian Institute for Health Information. Unlike the [Residential Care Facility Survey], it surveys only facilities that provide their residents with a minimum of professional nursing care or medical supervision.
