EHS risk assessment is a systematic process designed to identify, analyze, evaluate, and prioritize potential hazards within the workplace environment that could harm people(environment, health, and safety). It involves looking closely at what could go wrong, how likely it is to happen, and how severe the consequences could be. The core purpose is to provide the necessary information to make informed decisions about implementing control measures to mitigate risks effectively. 6, record 1, English, - health%2C%20safety%20and%20environment%20risk%20assessment

Artificial intelligence-induced psychosis is a relatively new term to describe a condition where prolonged or intense interactions with artificial intelligence(AI) tools lead to or exacerbate psychotic symptoms in vulnerable individuals. Although AI was intended to improve communication, workflow, and aid productivity, increased dependence and usage of AI have raised potential psychological risks. With the rise of AI chatbots used in daily life, the possibility of AI-related psychosis is a growing concern for mental health professionals. 1, record 2, English, - artificial%20intelligence%2Dinduced%20psychosis

Disinfection process, mainly with chlorine, to prevent microbiological contamination of water can lead to the formation of hazardous disinfection by-products(DBPs) due to the reaction of chlorine with natural organic matter(NOM) present in the water.... Beyond specific health based thresholds, DBPs can represent a public health issue due to the potential chronic risk of adverse effects on human health(e. g., cancer, reproductive and developmental effects) and the high prevalence of exposure. Thus, DBPs constitute an important concern for water systems, especially systems supplied by surface waters.... Recently, a technique known as differential UV [ultraviolet] absorbance(DUVA) has been developed that could provide a sensitive and highly specific indicator for DBP formation resulting from chlorination. 2, record 3, English, - differential%20UV%20absorbance

2, record 3, French, - diff%C3%A9rentiel%20d%27absorbance%20UV

In a telemedicine system, a patient is geographically removed from the presence of a doctor or other healthcare provider. For example, the patient could be at home instead of on site at a healthcare facility. Telemedical devices enable the healthcare provider to monitor the health status of a patient and potentially diagnose and treat some medical problems without the need for the patient to travel to the healthcare facility. The use of telemedical systems has the potential to reduce the cost of healthcare, and to improve the quality of healthcare through increased patient monitoring. Various known telemedicine systems provide a device to a patient that enables the patient to transmit medical data to a doctor or healthcare provider. Some devices are configured to record biosignals, such as heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration rates, and transmit data of the recorded biosignals to a database for later review. 1, record 9, English, - biosignal

What does benefit, harm and uncertainty mean? The regulation of consumer health products is based on the principle that the product's benefit must exceed any potential harm, with a reasonable degree of certainty. Benefit may be defined as any intended useful, positive effect obtained, whereas harm is any unintended effect that may cause injury or diminish human health in any way. Benefit and harm are not absolute, and Health Canada recognizes that uncertainties exist with respect to both the benefit and harm that may result from being exposed to a food or health product. 2, record 12, English, - benefit%2Dharm%2Duncertainty

Agriculture drones have a wide range of uses. For starters, they can be used in monitoring crop growth in real time. By taking aerial photographs... or videos... of large farm fields, farmers and agriculturists can identify potential problems with their crops before they become serious issues.... Drones in agriculture have also helped lower labor costs associated with traditional crop production practices by reducing the need for manual labor in areas such as scouting pest and disease infestations, detecting soil variations, measuring water content in the soil, or assessing fertilizer requirements. Additionally, some advanced models come equipped with sensors that measure light, temperature, pH levels in soil, and other essential parameters related to crop health. 5, record 13, English, - agricultural%20drone

2, record 83, French, - r%C3%A9gime%20hyperprot%C3%A9in%C3%A9

The Vaccine Associated Adverse Events Surveillance System(VAAESS) has had its name changed to Canadian Adverse Events Following Immunization Surveillance System(CAEFISS). This new name is in harmony with international standards and emphasizes that reported events follow immunization but are not necessarily associated with vaccine. The Canadian Adverse Events Following Immunization Surveillance System(CAEFISS) was developed to provide a national monitoring system for reporting adverse events and suspected adverse events following immunization. The objectives of the system are to : ensure continued safety of marketed vaccines in Canada; monitor adverse effects that may be caused by a vaccine; identify any unusually high rates of adverse events, both with individual vaccines and individual lots of vaccine; provide timely information that can be made available to potential recipients as well as health care providers so that they can weigh the risks and benefits of immunization, and identify areas that require further epidemiologic investigation and research or problems that require immediate investigation. 1, record 89, English, - Canadian%20Adverse%20Events%20Following%20Immunization%20Surveillance%20System

1, record 89, French, - Syst%C3%A8me%20canadien%20de%20surveillance%20des%20effets%20secondaires%20suivant%20l%27immunisation

It is reflected in the institutions, organizations and informal giving practices that people create to share resources and build attachments with others. The array of values and norms of a society influence in varying ways the health and well being of individuals and populations. In addition, social stability, recognition of diversity, safety, good working relationships, and cohesive communities provide a supportive society that reduces or avoids many potential risks to good health. 1, record 94, English, - Determinant%20of%20Health%205%20%2D%20Social%20Environments

Green chemistry, also called sustainable chemistry, is a chemical philosophy encouraging the design of products and processes that reduce or eliminate the use and generation of hazardous substances. Whereas environmental chemistry is the chemistry of the natural environment, and of pollutant chemicals in nature, green chemistry seeks to reduce and prevent pollution at its source. 3, record 95, English, - green%20chemistry

The concept of Sustainable Chemistry represents an area of innovation, which not only preserves resources, but also stands for a development process in the chemical industry. Sustainable Chemistry aspirates to raise the stake of less dangerous chemicals as well as production of environmentally high-quality products from preferable renewable resources. This obviates emissions and excessive consumption of resources like energy and materials. The principle of Sustainable Chemistry comprises important elements in areas like environment, economy and society. Sustainable Chemistry deals with the whole life of intrinsic safe chemicals and products, including their production, processing, use and disposal. Intrinsic safe chemicals and products are characterised by low toxicity to environment and human health and low persistence and accumulation potential. Thereby environment and human health are protected in the first place in the life of chemicals and socio-economic follow-up costs are avoided. Additionally, production of sustainable chemicals and products contributes to economic profit for innovative enterprises and thereby affords an opportunity for competitive advantage compared to production and marketing in old-fashioned concepts. This includes innovative concepts like chemical leasing and operation of(Quantitative) Structure-Activity Relationship [Q) SAR). 4, record 95, English, - green%20chemistry

5, record 95, French, - chimie%20verte

In health, agriculture, and government, the word "organophosphates" refers to a group of insecticides or nerve agents acting on the enzyme acetylcholinesterase(the pesticide group carbamates also act on this enzyme, but through a different mechanism). The term is used often to describe virtually any organic phosphorus(V)-containing compound, especially when dealing with neurotoxins... Organophosphate pesticides(as well as sarin and VX nerve gas) irreversibly inactivate acetylcholinesterase, which is essential to nerve function in insects, humans, and many other animals.
