Mental fitness refers to the intentional practices and skills that help the mind function at its best. It's a proactive approach, more like physical training than physical health monitoring. Where mental health is a state of being, mental fitness is the deliberate strengthening of the mind. Mental fitness involves developing qualities such as resilience, focus, adaptability, emotional regulation, and cognitive flexibility. It's not about eliminating difficult emotions or striving for constant positivity. It equips people with the capacity to navigate challenges more effectively, recover from stress, and maintain clarity during pressure. Crucially, mental fitness is not the absence of mental illness. Someone managing depression, anxiety, or another condition can still practise mental fitness and benefit from it. 2, record 2, English, - mental%20fitness

3, record 2, French, - forme%20mentale

Agriculture drones have a wide range of uses. For starters, they can be used in monitoring crop growth in real time. By taking aerial photographs... or videos... of large farm fields, farmers and agriculturists can identify potential problems with their crops before they become serious issues.... Drones in agriculture have also helped lower labor costs associated with traditional crop production practices by reducing the need for manual labor in areas such as scouting pest and disease infestations, detecting soil variations, measuring water content in the soil, or assessing fertilizer requirements. Additionally, some advanced models come equipped with sensors that measure light, temperature, pH levels in soil, and other essential parameters related to crop health. 5, record 10, English, - agricultural%20drone

The goal of the program is to provide a strategy that integrates with the Canadian national immunization strategy, resulting in the reduced incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases and their sequelae by March 2008. The objectives of the program are to : Improve the coverage rates for routine immunizations in the targeted population of FN children under six years of age living on-reserve, and move towards the international immunization coverage target of 95%; Implement newly recommended vaccines(conjugate pneumococcal, conjugate meningococcal C, and varicella [chickenpox]) across the country or the targeted population ;Improve the data and understanding of immunization coverage rates, the incidence of vaccine-preventable diseases, barriers to immunization and best practices in implementation. 1, record 62, English, - Targeted%20Immunization%20Strategy

1, record 62, French, - Strat%C3%A9gie%20d%27immunisation%20cibl%C3%A9e

The Children's Oral Health Initiative(COHI) was developed as a means to address the disparity between the oral health of First Nations and Inuit and that of the general Canadian population. COHI was launched on a test basis in Fall 2004. COHI focuses on the prevention of dental disease and promotion of good oral health practices. The goal of COHI is to shift the emphasis from a primarily treatment based approach to a more balanced prevention and treatment focus. The initial focus for oral health promotion will be directed at three target groups : pregnant women and primary caregivers; pre-school children, 0-4 years of age; and school children, 5-7 years of age. Health Canada expects that the COHI, once fully implemented in subsequent years, will result in significant improvement of the oral health in First Nations and Inuit. 1, record 76, English, - Children%26rsquo%3Bs%20Oral%20Health%20Initiative

Vaccinating centres are officially designated by countries in accordance with the International Health Regulations. Accordingly, Health Canada has established criteria which must be met for a clinic to be designated as a Yellow Fever vaccination centre. 1, record 93, French, - Programme%20des%20centres%20de%20vaccination%20contre%20la%20fi%C3%A8vre%20jaune

The importance of social support also extends to the broader community. Civic vitality refers to the strength of social networks within a community, region, province or country. It is reflected in the institutions, organizations and informal giving practices that people create to share resources and build attachments with others. The array of values and norms of a society influence in varying ways the health and well being of individuals and populations. In addition, social stability, recognition of diversity, safety, good working relationships, and cohesive communities provide a supportive society that reduces or avoids many potential risks to good health. 1, record 94, English, - Determinant%20of%20Health%205%20%2D%20Social%20Environments

Care maps outline treatment for patients who may require services from several different organizations or providers. By integrating the practices and experiences of each provider, care maps help the physician and the health care team set out a plan for all necessary patient care, thus helping define how each provider contributes to the overall patient plan. This approach improves efficiency by ensuring that all steps are performed at the optimum time... care maps also provide the most timely, efficient and effective access to treatment... care maps help physicians and others identify both trends in treating patients with the same conditions as well as deviations from the trends... Care maps also improve communication between patients and physicians or other health care providers. The patient better understand what role each health care provider plays and the physician is able to educate patients and their families about what to expect and how to speed recovery. 2, record 97, English, - care%20map
