Of the McGill University-Université de Montréal Research Group on Integrated Services for Older Persons. SIPA Research Program(System of Integrated Services for the Frail Elderly). SIPA is a demonstration and evaluation project based on a model of integrated care for the frail elderly. The demonstration project aimed to implement a model for the frail elderly living in the community and to evaluate by means of an experimental device, its comparative advantage in regards to existing services in Montreal. The evaluation was on impact on health, utilization of services, cost of services, quality of care and the implementation and organization of services. The SIPA project was carried out on the Island of Montreal over a period of 22 months from 1999 to 2001. De SOLIDAGE (Groupe de recherche Université de Montréal - Université McGill sur les services intégrés pour les personnes ägées. Programme de recherche SIPA (Système de services intégrés pour personnes âgées fragiles). Le projet SIPA est un projet de démonstration et d'évaluation fondé sur le modèle de services intégrés pour personnes âgées fragiles. Le projet de démonstration visait à implanter le modèle auprès de personnes âgées fragiles vivant dans la communauté et à évaluer au moyen d'un devis expérimental son avantage comparatif en regard des services habituels disponibles à Montréal. L'évaluation portait sur l'impact sur la santé, l'utilisation des services, les coûts des services, la qualité des soins, l'implantation et l'organisation des services. Le projet SIPA a été réalisé sur l'île de Montréal sur une période de 22 mois de 1999 à 2001.
