When an application to stay an exclusion order is presented at the last minute, as in the instant case, certain facts must be taken into consideration. The first is that the court may very well refuse to hear the application... But if the court is persuaded that it should hear the case, that does not mean that everything will happen in the usual way. The applicant still has the burden of satisfying the court that he is entitled to the order he is seeking. Response generation is an important component in developing a conversational dialog system. End users often judge the quality of a dialog system based on the quality of the responses they hear from the system. This relates to the Gricean cooperative principle, which describes how people interact with one another and posits that conversational contributions are made as required, at the appropriate time, and for the purpose of advancing the conversation. One aspect of system quality is the avoidance of obscure or non-responsive expressions, and preferably the use of phrases with which the user is familiar. 1, record 4, English, - response%20generation

Auditory feedback is the relative loudness level at which telephone users are able to hear their voice. With conventional wired telephones, an audio signal is fed back to the user's own earpiece so they can hear their voice at a predetermined loudness level. This audio signal is sometimes called sidetone. Persons speaking on the phone naturally will tend to adjust the loudness level of their voice to produce a comfortable level of audio in the earpiece. In contrast, wireless mobile cellular telephones do not generally provide feedback of a user's own voice in the receiver. Consequently, they tend to speak at relatively loud levels that are sometimes annoying to those around them. 1, record 5, English, - auditory%20feedback

Audiometry provides a more precise measurement of hearing. Air conduction is tested by wearing earphones attached to the audiometer. Pure tones of controlled intensity are delivered to one ear at a time. The patient is asked to raise a hand, press a button, or otherwise indicate when he hears a sound. The minimum intensity(volume) required to hear each tone is graphed. An attachment called a bone oscillator is placed against the bone behind each ear(mastoid bone) to test bone conduction. 3, record 86, English, - audiometry

Governments establish public inquiries to investigate and report on matters of substantial public interest related to good governance or public business within a jurisdiction... A commission of inquiry is established and paid for by government; however, it is an independent body. A public inquiry is not a trial. The commission performs its duties without expressing conclusions about civil or criminal liability of any person or organization. Commissions of Inquiry hear evidence through public hearings. The hearing functions in much the same way as a court of law, although not all of the same rules apply... 2, record 99, English, - board%20of%20inquiry

4, record 99, French, - commission%20d%27enqu%C3%AAte
