Angiotensin II receptor–neprilysin inhibitors. Sacubitril-valsartan isa fixed dose combination of the angiotensin II receptor blocker valsartan and the neprilysin inhibitor sacubitril.... Sacubitril/valsartan is a combination product. Sacubritil acts as a neprilysin inhibitor and works by blocking the action of neprilysin, inhibiting the breakdown of natriuretic peptides. This results in increased diuresis, vasodilation, reduction in blood pressure and work on the heart. Valsartan is an angiotensin receptor blocker and inhibits the RAAS [renin-angiotensin aldosterone system]... to reduce the maladaptive response to cardiac failure. Neprilysin breaks down angiotensin II, so sacubitril given alone would result in an accumulation of angiotensin II. For this reason, it must be combined with an angiotensin receptor blocker to block the effect of excess angiotensin II. 2, record 3, English, - angiotensin%20II%20receptor%20and%20neprilysin%20inhibitor

2, record 4, French, - insuffisance%20cardiaque%20compens%C3%A9e

Restrictive cardiomyopathy(RCM) is a rare form of heart muscle disease that is characterized by restrictive filling of the ventricles. In this disease the contractile function(squeeze) of the heart and wall thicknesses are usually normal, but the relaxation or filling phase of the heart is very abnormal. This occurs because the heart muscle is stiff and poorly compliant and does not allow the ventricular chambers to fill with blood normally. This inability to relax and fill with blood results in a “back up” of blood into the atria(top chambers of the heart), lungs and body causing the symptoms and signs of heart failure. 2, record 39, English, - restrictive%20cardiomyopathy

5, record 42, French, - doppler

Abomasal impaction. Impaction of the abomasum develops in pregnant beef cows during cold winter months when cattle have decreased water intake and are fed poor-quality roughage. It also has been seen in feedlot cattle fed a variety of mixed rations containing chopped or ground roughage(straw, hay) and cereal grains and in late-pregnancy dairy cows on similar feeds. Complete anorexia, scant feces, moderate distention of the abdomen, weight loss, and weakness are usually the initial signs. Body temperature is usually normal but may be subnormal during cold weather. A mucoid nasal discharge tends to collect at the external nares and on the muzzle; the muzzle is usually dry and cracked due to the failure of the animal to lick its nostrils and to the effects of dehydration. The heart rate may be increased, and mild dehydration is common. 2, record 48, English, - abomasal%20impaction

Inducible NO-synthase in skeletal muscle. The expression and localization of inducible nitric oxide(NO) synthase(NOS II) was evaluated as a source of NO which has been shown to affect muscle contraction. Advanced stages of chronic heart failure are associated with systemic activation of cytokines which have been shown to stimulate the expression of NOS II in various cell types, including myocytes. We hypothesized that systemic cytokine activation could lead to expression of NOS II in skeletal muscle of patients with chronic heart failure. 2, record 73, English, - NO%20synthase
