Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The objective of a green corridor is always to link important natural areas in a city using a strip or corridor characterised by rich vegetation.... The benefits of green corridors are various, of course : increased biodiversity, promotion of non-polluting mobility, reduced air/noise pollution, helping prevent heat islands, and better water retention. They also generate social, cultural and economic benefits. 2, record 1, English, - green%20corridor
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Green corridors slicing through an urban area are conspicuous. Such strips (1) subdivide the area, (2) block out the other side, (3) are filters for movement across, (4) are thin and dominated by edge species, (5) are likely to be seen or encountered, (6) may be appealing or dangerous, and (7) tend to channel movement along their length. Indeed, these characteristics lead to the five major ecological functions of corridors ...: conduit; barrier/filter; source; sink; and habitat. 3, record 1, English, - green%20corridor

Feedstock is fed into a digester where air is forced through the material to encourage the growth of aerobic microbes. The process is exothermic and the heat is maintained at thermophilic conditions of between 55-65°C. The retention time of the process is usually between two and five days, as degradation is rapid. Following digestion the digestate is usually dewatered or dried. The output is a bio-fertiliser. 1, record 3, English, - thermophilic%20aerobic%20digestion

...the solar heating of bodies shielded by glass or other transparent materials which transmit solar radiation but absorb the greater part of the radiation emitted by the bodies. 2, record 4, English, - greenhouse%20effect
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 1 CONT
The absorption of escaping infrared rays by the glass of a greenhouse contributes only a very small percentage to the retention of heat within the structure. A greenhouse retains heat mostly because its warmer air cannot rise and escape. Greenhouses with polyethylene walls work as well as those with glass walls, and polyethylene absorbs much less infrared energy than glass. Although the analogy is poorly chosen, the term "greenhouse effect, "as used in atmospheric science, continues to designate an insulating effect, regardless of the mechanism. 3, record 4, English, - greenhouse%20effect

These are designed to bathe boatloads of wafers or other parts in quantity production. The bath vessels should be equipped with heating elements that surround and concentrate the desired heat on the liquid within the bath. This will enable the bath liquid to be heated rapidly(6 °C or more per minute), while also allowing the bath to be very stably operated between 40 ° and 180 °C. Baths should be equipped with a built-in thermistor sensor to regulate the amount of heat, and provide the capability of maintaining a very constant-temperature when necessary. The vessel should be designed to resist thermal shock, be capable of high heat retention, and be impervious to most acids. Wafer baths can be either mounted to the work surface, or they can be used free-standing unit. Vessel size should allow the bat to accept any standard wafer within a wafer carrier. 1, record 7, English, - wafer%20bath

The Shell Fabric : Exterior is treated with a highly durable ultra thin coating which sheds water better than any known system. The woven fabric itself is a high count, double denier nylon, developed to withstand wind and rain. The interior is treated with Entrant's microporous waterproof, breathable composite. The insulation : A two layer, revolutionary laminate consisting of polyester, TEIJINCOMEX and wool. The first layer : Polyester and TEIJINCONEX; the TEIJINCOMEX, an aramid polyamide fiber with the supreme capabilities for heat retention while wicking and dispersing moisture; blended with polyester, supple enough to conform to the contour of the body while it creates dead air space. The second layer : A polyester and wool blend; providing warmth and furthering moisture dispersement. The Lining : Either aluminium coated mesh; reflecting body heat while remaining breathable. Or, brushed tricot; warm breathable and quick drying. 1, record 8, English, - thermoclad
