Plantar fasciitis is one of the most common conditions causing heel pain. It involves inflammation of the plantar fascia—a tough, fibrous band of tissue that runs along the sole of the foot. The plantar fascia attaches to the heel bone(calcaneus) and to the base of the toes. It helps support the arch of the foot and has an important role in normal foot mechanics during walking. 2, record 1, English, - plantar%20fasciitis
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Plantar fasciitis is often an overuse injury primarily due to a repetitive strain causing micro-tears of the plantar fascia. Still, this condition can occur due to trauma or other multifactorial causes. 3, record 1, English, - plantar%20fasciitis

2, record 1, French, - fasciite%20plantaire

Unlike standard shoes, the egg-bar shoe provides support beneath the heel, which is especially beneficial when a horse has navicular disease, collapsed heels, underrun hooves, and flat soles.... Egg-bar shoes are also used to give more support on soft ground. However, if your horse is wearing these shoes, do not turn him out into a muddy area. Mud, manure, straw and other debris easily collect inside the egg-bar shoe. 3, record 2, English, - egg%2Dbar%20shoe

BREAK OVER. This occurs during that part of the stride when the limb is beginning to move forward and the anterior portion of the hoof leaves the ground. Break over point is that place on the ground surface of the dorsal wall and sole around which the limb rotates as the hoof leaves the ground. An unbalanced hoof, either because of incorrect trimming/shoeing, or hoof or limb pathologies, will not have the correct break over which leads to a host of problems, both actual and potential. It is also important to note that proper heel support is a major player in this equation. 2, record 7, English, - breakover

The new combined pedal was invented by Mr. Sven Gustafsson, who came up with the idea during his travels with buses and lorries as a professional driver. The pedal is mounted in the same position as the conventional accelerator. The right foot is placed on the pedal and should stay there during the drive. A heel support prevents the foot from slipping off the pedal. When accelerating, the driver pushes with the forefoot in the usual manner and when braking, the driver pushes with the whole foot. 1, record 8, English, - combined%20accelerator%2Dbrake%20pedal

1, record 8, French, - p%C3%A9dale%20unique
