Childhood disintegrative disorder (CDD) is a rare and little-understood form of pervasive developmental disorder (PDD). CDD is typified by a period of normal development in the child for at least two years before a period of profound and irreversible regression in social and cognitive skills. After regression, behavioural traits in CDD patients are similar to autism. However, the seemingly normal development of the CDD patient before regression onset, as well as the late age of regression onset, are typically considered specific to the condition and markers of its distinctness from other autism spectrum disorder (ASD) diagnoses. 3, record 1, English, - childhood%20disintegrative%20disorder

4, record 1, French, - trouble%20d%C3%A9sint%C3%A9gratif%20de%20l%27enfance

The intention of the Canadian Government in authorizing the formation of the Canadian Armament Research and Development Establishment (CARDE) by Order-in-Council in 1945 was to preserve the main elements of the military technological complex which had been developed in Valcartier during the Second World War. In reality, it gave way to more than 60 years of major technological discoveries in Defense science. 1, record 4, English, - Defence%20R%26D%20Canada%20%2D%20Valcartier
Record number: 4, Textual support number: 2 OBS
DRDC Valcarter is a major Canadian military research station in Quebec, one of seven centres making up Defence Research and Development Canada(DRDC). Originally formed at the end of World War II in 1945 as the Canadian Armament Research and Development Establishment(CARDE), the intent was to keep the research teams built up during the war in Canada, as opposed to moving to the United States. Starting in 1951 CARDE implemented a major missile development program, eventually delivering two combat systems, the Velvet Glove air-to-air missile and the Heller anti-tank rocket. Neither was accepted for production, but the basic research was used with local defence contractors to build up familiarity with the new technologies. 3, record 4, English, - Defence%20R%26D%20Canada%20%2D%20Valcartier

1, record 4, French, - R%20%26%20D%20pour%20la%20d%C3%A9fense%20Canada%20%2D%20Valcartier
