Les méningiomes angioblastiques [...] posent le difficile problème de leur distinction (de leur identité ?) avec les hémangiopéricytomes. Si un certains nombre d'auteurs ont pu écrire qu'en microscopie optique les méningiomes angioblastiques étaient des hémangiopéricytomes des méninges, il apparaît cependant qu'en microscopie électronique une distinction puisse être faite : il convient en effet de distinguer : - les méningiomes angioblastiques de type hémangiopéricytique qui sont tout à fait superposables aux hémangiopéricytomes, tant au point de vue histologique que pronostique : ce sont des tumeurs agressives, de croissance rapide, présentant des récidives précoces et fréquentes, des métastases à distance, se comportant comme des tumeurs de grade histologique III; - des méningiomes angioblastiques de type hémangioblastique qui ont un comportement beaucoup moins agressif, pouvant certes récidiver, mais moins fréquemment, ayant une évolution comparable à celle des hémangioblastomes, tumeurs de grade histologique I ou II. 2, record 4, French, - m%C3%A9ningiome%20h%C3%A9mangiop%C3%A9ricytaire
