Hépatite B (hépatite d'inoculation). [...] 4, record 1, French, - h%C3%A9patite%20B

Metabolic dysfunction-associated steatotic liver disease(MASLD) is one of the most common causes of chronic liver disease in the developed world. It is a spectrum of disease, ranging from hepatic fat accumulation without inflammation to steatohepatitis, fibrosis, cirrhosis, and end-stage liver disease. MASLD is considered the hepatic manifestation of metabolic syndrome and is associated with obesity, dyslipidemia, and type 2 diabetes mellitus. The diagnosis of MASLD is based on [the] exclusion of other etiologies of steatotic liver disease, such as alcohol use, and supportive laboratory tests and imaging. 4, record 3, English, - metabolic%20dysfunction%2Dassociated%20steatotic%20liver%20disease

... Fascioloides magna is found mainly in North America and Europe. In Canada F. magna is widely distributed in elk, deer and moose and has caused isolated outbreaks of fascioliasis in cattle and sheep. Sheep and goats are particularly susceptible to infestation with F. magna, especially when they share pasture with deer. The prevalence of infestation in cattle may be very high but only in rare cases are these animals affected clinically. Cyanide toxicity is caused by the free cyanides(HCN and CN-) that inhibit cytochrome oxidase and thereby suppress aerobic respiration. Fish are the most susceptible organisms-sensitive species exhibit chronic and lethal effects at as low as 5-7 and 20-76 grams/liter, respectively. The toxicity of complex cyanides is usually, but not always, low, but the degradation products often include free cyanides which are toxic. Free cyanides readily degrade in the open environment but persist in groundwater. They do not bioaccumulate. Sublethal effects in fish include reduced reproductive capacity(decreased egg number and viability, and reduced embryo and larval survival), impaired swimming ability, altered growth, and hepatic necrosis. Free cyanides are phytotoxic at higher concentrations than those associated with adverse effects in fish. 2, record 80, English, - free%20cyanide

2, record 80, Spanish, - cianuro%20libre

In the acute phase [of portal vein thrombosis], the portal vein is enlarged and has a CT attenuation value equal to that of unopacified blood on noncontrast images; it does not demonstrate central enhancement with contrast. Rarely, the thrombus may be of higher attenuation which is typical of freshly clotted blood. There may be segmental or focal decrease in hepatic enhancement to the segment(s) supplied by the occluded portal vein branches. 1, record 98, English, - hepatic%20enhancement

Obsolete test for liver function(hepatic excretory capacity) in which a known amount of dye, usually 5 mg/kg of body weight, is injected intravenously; subsequently(usually after 45 minutes elapsed time), the amount of dye remaining in the serum is measured; a concentration of 0. 4 mg or less of bromsulphalein per 100 ml of serum or less than 4% of the injected dye is considered normal; bromsulphalein retention may follow decreased hepatic blood flow or biliary obstruction as well as hepatic cell damage. 1, record 99, English, - bromsulphalein%20test

A measure of the ability of plasminogen activators and plasmin to lyse a clot; normally, clot lysis is determined by the balance of factors which activate fibrinolysis(plasminogen activators and plasmin) and those which inhibit lysis; in certain conditions(e. g., carcinoma or hepatic insufficiency) activating factors predominate and can be measured by noting the time it takes the euglobulin fraction of plasma(excluding inhibitors of fibrinolysis) to clot. 1, record 100, English, - euglobulin%20clot%20lysis%20time
