HEPATITIS B IMMUNIZATION [8 records]

Record 1 2011-11-09

English

Subject field(s)
  • Titles of Federal Government Programs (Canadian)
  • Human Diseases
OBS

While progress has been made in vaccinating children against preventable diseases, there remains a clear need for continuing to support childhood immunization worldwide. CIII [Canadian International Immunization Initiative] and the Global Alliance on Vaccines and Immunization(GAVI) provide a complementary approach to immunization. CIII continues to focus on basic childhood immunization and systems strengthening, while GAVI provides vaccines for other diseases such as hepatitis B that make up a substantial burden of disease in developing countries.

Domaine(s)
  • Titres de programmes fédéraux (Gouvernement canadien)
  • Maladies humaines
OBS
