Ottawa, Canadian Heritage. A compilation of data collected in a survey by the Canadian Society of Zoologists, this database is an inventory of over 150 zoological collections in Canada. The focus is on scientific zoological collections, with the exception of terrestrial arthropods. It includes collections found in museums, government agencies, universities, and some private collections. This information is being collected to identify, safeguard, and ensure a future for the smaller zoological collections in Canada. The data found in this resource were mostly collected in 1992; this data will be updated soon. This database acts as a directory to zoological collections in Canada and includes reference to many specialized collections not listed elsewhere. Researchers may use the database to determine the location, contact person, and access procedures of collections in their area of expertise. 1, record 17, English, - Canadian%20Society%20of%20Zoologists%20Collections%20Database

Ottawa : Patrimoine canadien. 1, record 17, French, - Base%20de%20donn%C3%A9es%20des%20collections%20de%20la%20Soci%C3%A9t%C3%A9%20canadienne%20de%20zoologie
