Le gouvernement du Canada fournira un financement pour des activités communautaires ainsi que pour des activités nationales et internationales jusqu'au 31 mars 2001 (les principales activités financées dans le cadre du Programme des partenariats du millénaire du Canada doivent se dérouler au cours de l'année 2000 et doivent se terminer au 31 mars 20001). Les fonds seront alloués au cours des trois années du programme.
