CONT

High-frequency sealing is the most-used method for sealing laminated tubes. Its advantages include excellent seal strength and high speeds. In this system, high frequency current is sent through the tube causing the aluminum foil layer to heat up. The hot foil melts the plastic inner layer, creating a strong, hermetic seal when the tube is crimped.

Soudage par haute fréquence. Il utilise l'échauffement d'un isolant placé dans un champ électrostatique alternatif qui provoque une agitation moléculaire. (...) Bien que contesté entre autres par le Grand Dictionnaire Encyclopédique Larousse, le terme "soudure" est employé au sens de "soudage" (l'opération) par les auteurs de "L'emballage sous toutes ses facettes" (code : BEMBA, 1988), ouvrage piloté par le Laboratoire National d'Essais de France et la revue Emballages Magazine.
