1, record 14, French, - h%C3%A9t%C3%A9rog%C3%A9n%C3%A9it%C3%A9

Marine biofilm : how quickly does it form? Immediately, when a surface is immersed in the sea, a conditioning film of organic molecules forms. This begins after a few seconds of immersion and is considered as molecular fouling. In the hours and days that follow, bacteria colonise the surface and micro colonies occur. These colonies spread outwards and upwards to form irregular structures. At this stage other microfouling appear, e. g. microalgae and fungi... The biofilm then matures and new species enter and grow, organic and inorganic debris is incorporated and solute gradients develop leading to a special heterogeneity. At this point three things can occur : The biofilm may slough off due the hydrodynamics of the environment; Organisms may begin to graze on the biofilm; Larger organisms such as algae and molluscs may establish on it, this is macrofouling. 4, record 31, English, - microfouling

Core project of International Geosphere-Biosphere Program. BAHC is an interdisciplinary project combining and integrating expertise from many disciplines, in particular eco-physiology, pedology, hydrology, and meteorology. BAHC in this respect has a transfer function : on the one hand developing techniques and algorithms to provide climatic data needed for hydroecological research, thereby translating the results of the World Climate Research Programme(WCRP) into the scales relevant for studies of changes of the conditions at the land surface, and on the other hand, providing soil-vegetation-atmosphere transfer at larger scales, in particular, the areal pattern of heat and moisture fluxes according to land-surface heterogeneity. BAHC concentrates on investigations at scales where detailed studies of hydroecological processes are feasible in selected areas representing major ecosystems of the world and across boundaries between different ecosystems(ecotones, biome boundaries, etc.). 2, record 39, English, - Biospheric%20Aspects%20of%20the%20Hydrological%20Cycle

Given that many elite lines are derived from F3 to F5 selections of a cross, it is reasonable to assume that at least some genetic heterogeneity exists within lines. In such cases, the frequency of each allele within the line was assumed to be 0. 5 instead of either 1. 0 or 0 as for homogeneous lines. This adjusts the allele frequency data for the purposes of calculating the probability of inheriting an allele from an ancestor or for calculating the frequency of an allele within the elite population. 1, record 42, English, - allele%20from%20an%20ancestor
