English

Subject field(s)
  • Milling and Cereal Industries
CONT

... reels of various designs are still favoured by some millers for scalping and grading.... The hexagonal reel is favoured to-day.... The hexagonal barrel of a reel is arranged at a slight decline, and is carried in a strong timber framework... The old-fashioned method of tacking covers on the framework has been eliminated, silk covers now being made to "lace up"...

French

Domaine(s)
  • Minoterie et céréales
CONT
