The slow fade is essentially the charade that someone puts on when they have made the decision to end the relationship but don’t share their decision. Instead of telling the other person directly that [it is] over, they continue to pretend the relationship is intact while sending mixed signals and slowly drift away, hoping that the other person will take the hint and get the message.... People who use the slow fade[, ] when the decision to end the relationship is one-sided, often think they are being kind by cutting someone off slowly rather than abruptly.... the slow fade is a prolonged ending that results in the soon-to-be-ex being filled with confusion and self-doubt.

A model of the student’s current state. This is the system’s current understanding of the history, capabilities, knowledge, goals and motivation of the student it is teaching.

DEF

That part of a teaching program which provides it with information about the student using it.

CONT

We generally think of a student model as an evolving description of what the student knows about the subject domain. [...] This dynamic process is based on various sources of evidence and ways to reason about the evidence, involving considerations like measures of a priori difficulty, structural relationships in the knowledge base, and common sense reasoning.

CONT

Another student-controlled means of sharing status information is through the student profile. At the start of a tutorial session the student specifies whether he wishes to be told about conclusions being made by the expert program... in the course of the dialogue. He can request nothing, ask for full information, or simply request a "hint, "... The components of the profile are : Student Sophistication... Failure or Success of D-rules... Rule Conclusions... Rainbow formed in the same way as the solar rainbow, but with light from the Moon rather than the Sun.

CONT

A night time rainbow is sometimes called a moon bow because it is a reflection of the light of the moon.... Any rainbow comes from light hitting drops of rain and going into the drop and being reflected off of the inside edge. As the light leaves the drop on it's return journey the other side of the drop acts like a prism and separates it into the colors of the rainbow.... with moon light it makes something shaped like a rainbow with just a hint color. Moon bows occur in the side of the sky opposite the moon.

OBS

Even though the optics of both is the same, the luminance of the lunar rainbow is much lower. As a result of the eye’s reduced sensitivity to color at low light levels, the bow may exhibit little color. There are several reasons why the lunar rainbow is seen much less frequently than the solar bow. While the moon and sun spend equal time above the horizon, when they are both present, only a solar bow can be seen. This, by itself, means that the lunar rainbow could form only half as often. Further, the moon goes through phases, and so even at night may not contribute enough light to produce a discernible bow. Finally, the convective showers in which the rainbow is frequently seen are much less common at night.

Kraton G series 1657 rubber is used as an additive to low molecular weight resins such as Regalrez 1094. When using Kraton rubber always be sure to use Tinuvin 292. The rubber improves the flexibility of a final varnish, improves scratch resistance and increases the varnishes viscosity which yields a better feeling varnish when applying by brush(low molecular weight resins tend to feel very thin). Kraton G 1657 can be added in the range of 1-3% by weight of resin. ("Unusual" means a base other than A, G, C, or U.) Many of the unusual bases differ from normal bases by the presence of one or more methyl(-CH3) groups. Most, if not all, of the methyl groups are enzymatically added after the nucleotides are linked together by 3’-5’ phosphodiester linkages. Very probably, the other unusual bases also arise by the enzymatic modification of a preexisting polynucleotide. The function of the unusual bases is not yet clear. They are not limited to alanine tRNA but occur in varying proportions in all tRNA molecules. Our only hint of their role is the fact that several unusual bases cannot form conventional base pairs. Some of the unusual bases may thus have the function of disruption double-helical hairpin regions, thereby exposing free keto and amino groups which can then form secondary bonds. Depending upon the specific bases, the free groups may form secondary bonds to template RNA, to a ribosome, or to the enzyme needed to attach a specific amino acid to its specific tRNA molecule. [Examples of those rare nucleotides are : Inosine, 1-methylinosine, N2-dimethylguanosine, 1-methylguanosine, Ribothymidine, Dihydrouridine and Pseudouridine].

CONT
