Hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy(HIPEC) is also called "continuous hyperthermic peritoneal perfusion. "It can be used with surgery to treat cancers in the abdominal(peritoneal) cavity such as peritoneal mesothelioma, stomach, colorectal and liver cancers.
