A day of hail is defined as one when pieces of ice, 5mm or more in diameter are observed to fall. The hailstones can fall separately or be agglomerated into irregular lumps.

The resulting unique database consists of high-quality hail data for 1, 061 weather stations, including monthly and annual counts of the number of days with hail and historical hail-related crop losses for the 27 states with the highest losses. Maps display the spatial pattern of annual and seasonal hail days.

The York-Sunbury Historical Society Museum is an excellent repository of the history of central New Brunswick. Situated in former military barracks, the Museum superbly documents the history of native peoples, Acadians and Loyalists. Also on display are artifacts from World War I and World War II.

Le Musée de la Société historique York-Sunbury offre une excellente représentation de l'histoire de la partie centrale du Nouveau-Brunswick. Situé dans d'anciennes baraques militaires, le Musée reflète très bien l'histoire des Autochtones, des Acadiens et des Loyalistes. On y trouve aussi quelques objets datant de la Première et de la Seconde Guerre mondiale.
