To promote the internationalization and standardization of construction technology, the PCC [Public Construction Commission] has completed the integration of national construction implementation standards, a unified coding system, and construction-item nomenclature; it has also established standardized engineering charts and a uniform budget form for basic public construction planning and design, which will facilitate the assurance of construction quality. Furthermore, the mechanism of public construction price surveys and historical case studies has brought more systemization and rationalization to the allocation of budgets. 1, record 4, English, - public%20construction%20planning

Arming for the data wars. The news and data streaming endlessly through computers is a big business in its own right. Last year, the four main companies-Bloomberg, Bridge, Dow Jones and Reuters-together collected $4. 4 billion of sales for providing the information that lubricates the workings of the financial markets. What makes each service unique is the historical data it offers and the number-crunching software it provides for customers to analyse the data. If, say, a fund manager has a peculiar hunch that price swings in French shares might affect the way American municipal bonds fluctuate, he needs decades of prices and a sophisticated way to process them. A vendor that can provide him only two years of stock prices will not meet his needs. Although Reuters’ breadth of information remains unmatched, it has yet to master the art of supplying historical data packaged up with analytical software. For now, that market belongs to Bloomberg. 4, record 5, English, - knowledge%20warfare

Truly rare quality Canadian coins are very infrequently offered or sold. In many cases, rare coins may appear only once every few years of possibly only once every major coin cycle(5-8 years). The last sale of such an item may be meaningless as an aid to repricing such a coin in a "new" market. "Trends" for such coins are non-existant. Such coins are usually priced by relating them to other similar coins of comparable rarity and using historical relationships of pricing between the two to arrive at a "fair" asking price. In the end the price will be what a willing buyer will pay a willing seller. Considerable research may go in to pricing such coins, certainly more than looking them up in a Trends List. 1, record 6, English, - pricing%20rare%20coins

Term of technical analysts to describe the historical pattern of stock price movements that, in general, could be described as a triangle-with the base at left and the apex at right when looking at a chart of the stock's price movements. 3, record 10, French, - triangle
