Record number: 7, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Ray-tracing technique relies on an extremely time-consuming algorithm to compute the reflection and refraction of light from the surfaces of imaginary objects. Basically the computer program traces individual light rays, starting at the viewpoint and passing backward through each pixel in the image plane until the ray hits a surface. The reflected ray is then continued to see if it could have come from a light source, either directly or after reflection from another object. For a transparent surface a second, refracted ray must also be traced. 7, record 7, English, - ray%20tracing

High throughput screening(HTS) involves the screening of very large collections of small molecules enabled by automation... HTS remains the most popular approach taken when little initial information is known about the particular biological system under investigation. The broad objective of compound screening is to rapidly identify biologically active small molecules or "hits" within a specific area of interest. Rules : There are 3 teams, each with a different color jersey.... There are 4 players on each team... The players on the defensive teams form a square around the ball. This same square constantly follows all the movements of the ball. Each player is responsible for a corner of the square and is situated about 10-12 feet from the ball. The ball starts in the middle and one team sets up a serve. The serving formation is as follows; 2-4 players kneel down facing each other with heads down and arms outstretched. The ball is placed on their outstretched arms. The server approaches the ball and says "Omnikin" and another color(example : Omnikin Red!) before striking the ball with the fist in an upward motion. When the color is announced and the ball is in the air, the corresponding team must catch the ball before it hits the ground. If successful, that team sets up the serve immediately. If the team does not catch the ball before it touches the ground, then one point is awarded to each of the other teams on the court and that same team serves the ball. 3, record 27, English, - Kin%2DBall%C2%AE%20sport

5, record 34, French, - vitesse
Record number: 34, Textual support number: 2 OBS
6, record 34, French, - vitesse

Both the French and Spanish make much use of the anglicism "drive", albeit not in a correct fashion: In English "drive" is supposed to imply a ball hit with a lot of pace to win a point outright, regardless of the type of spin used to accomplish this task, and regardless of which side it is hit (forehand or backhand). (The terms "shot" and "stroke", being more neutral, need not imply any added spin whatsoever.) Record number: 57, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Rounders is an English game. It is often played as a casual game with a stick and a ball, but it has a proper set of rules. It is played 9-a-side, and each side has two innings. The batsmen use a wooden bat called a stick and try to score rounders. The bowler bowls with a smooth underarm action from a distance of 24 1/2 feet(7. 5 m). The four bases are posts 3 ft. 11 in.(1. 2 m) high. The batsman tries to hit the ball and then run around the outside of the posts to the fourth post in order to score a rounder. To score, you have to reach the fourth post on your own hit. If you stop at a post, you may run home when a teammate hits the ball, but you do not score. You join the end of the batting line. You can be out if the ball is caught, or if a fielder touches you or the post with the ball. When all the batsmen are out, the innings are over. 3, record 57, English, - rounders

There are a number of bat and ball games played only in certain parts of the world. Most of theses games are variations of cricket or baseball.... When all the batsmen are out, the innings is over. 3, record 58, English, - rounders

The first type of precision airdrop is a single system called AGAS(Affordable Guided Airdrop System) that uses in-service round cargo parachutes. A detailed knowledge of the wind patterns at the drop location is used to calculate the required flight path and drop point. The flight path is maintained by the system's ability to pull slips which dump air from one side of the canopy. By incorporating wind data with this limited method of steering, the system has proven capable of landing an average of 48 meters away from the intended grid reference when deployed from 13 000 ft above ground level. This accuracy is phenomenal given that the present LF freefall cylinder rarely even hits a large drop zone when deployed from 5, 000 feet above ground evel(AGL). AGAS is the cheapest precision airdrop system presently available. 2, record 73, English, - affordable%20guided%20airdrop%20system

1, record 73, French, - syst%C3%A8me%20peu%20co%C3%BBteux%20de%20largage%20de%20pr%C3%A9cision

He hits a sacrifice fly or a sacrifice hit(also known as sacrifice bunt). He is awarded first base due to interference or obstruction, usually by the catcher. The inning ends while he is still at bat(due to the third out being made by a runner caught stealing, for example). In this case, the batter will come to bat again in the next inning, though he now has no balls or strikes on him. Note that just because a player is described as being "at bat" in this sense, he will not necessarily be given an at bat in his statistics; the phrase actually signifies a plate appearance (assuming it is eventually completed). Doppler lidar is used to measure the velocity of a target. When the light transmitted from the lidar hits a target moving towards or away from the lidar, the wavelength of the light reflected/scattered off the target will be changed slightly. This is known as a Doppler shift-hence Doppler Lidar. If the target is moving away from the lidar, the return light will have a longer wavelength(sometimes referred to as a red shift), if moving towards the lidar the return light will be at a shorter wavelength(blue shifted). The target can be either a hard target or an atmospheric target-the atmosphere contains many microscopic dust and aerosol particles which are carried by the wind. 3, record 91, English, - Doppler%20lidar

When the roll gimbal hits its stop, it precesses pitch into the other pitch stop. This process could continue throughout the first phase of rapid align. To prevent this, a rate signal is developed from the roll VG [vertical gyro] pick-off signal and fed to platform pitch gimbal servo loop. When the pitch gimbal goes into its stop and roll starts to precess, the roll pick-off signal is fed into the pitch loop to drive the pitch gimbal out of its stop. 1, record 92, English, - platform%20pitch%20gimbal%20servo%20loop

1, record 92, French, - boucle%20d%27asservissement%20du%20cardan%20de%20tangage%20de%20la%20plate%2Dforme

Secondly, the most common type of firing solution in high speed combat is a leading deflection shot. In this kind of shot, you lay down fire in front of your target and let him fly through the stream.
