The HIV gene which codes for polymerase enzyme. 2, record 1, English, - pol%20gene
Record number: 1, Textual support number: 1 OBS
The pol gene encodes the reverse transcriptase enzyme (p53, p66), which transcribes viral RNA into DNA, a step required before HIV viral proteins and new viruses can be made. Also encoded in the pol gene are a portion of the HIV protease (5’end) and an endonuclease protein (p31). 3, record 1, English, - pol%20gene

2, record 1, French, - g%C3%A8ne%20pol
