In many cases, the A-tool can accomplish the same job as the K-tool. The A-tool may cause slightly more damage to the door than a K-tool, but it will rapidly pull the cylinder. Many locks are manufactured with collars or protective cone-shaped covers over them to prevent the lock cylinder from being unscrewed. The A-tool was developed as a direct result of those lock design changes. The A-tool is a prying tool with a sharp notch with cutting edges machined into it. The notch resembles the letter A. This tool is designed to cut behind the protective collar of a lock cylinder and maintain a hold so that the lock cylinder can be pried out. 1, record 2, English, - A%2Dtool

1, record 2, French, - barre%20arrache%2Dserrure

To complete a distress a seizure of the chattels is necessary. A seizure may be either actual or constructive. It is actual by laying hands on the article, or on one of several articles, and claiming to detain it or them until the rent is satisfied. The most proper manner of making a distress is for the person distraining to go upon any part of the premises out of which the rent issues and take hold of some personal chattel declaring that it is taken as a distress in the name of all goods, or of so much as will satisfy the rent in arrear, and this will be a good seizure of all. ... hand held weather stations take about every weather factor into consideration. ... Very sophisticated ones not only measure weather conditions every second but make E.T. or throttle stop predictions every 4 seconds. A sophisticated drag racing weather station will allow you to store data on as many as 256 previous runs and performs an analysis to give you a prediction based on the weather conditions instantly. It can keep and use separate databases for separate vehicles, tracks, or classes. Some of the really sophisticated stations have a prediction deviation function [which] gives a reliability value of the prediction. It gives you a margin of error based on the information in the database that you chose. Within the last few years, windmeters have been added to the weather station box of tricks. 1, record 8, English, - hand%20held%20weather%20station

The Kestrel line of wind meters or anemometers... in less than 60 seconds, provide the answer to the major spraying season question that haunts producers each morning :"How windy is it?" The Kestrel 1000... gives a fast answer to wind speed average and gusts.... the model 2000 will add temperature and for those really cold days on the sprayer, add wind chill to that list. The 3000 adds humidity, dew point and heat stress index.... But for an all out weather station you can hold in the palm of your hand, the Kestrel 4000 provides all of this, in addition to wet bulb, altitude, air density and barometric pressure. Most importantly, 250 of these readings can be recorded in the device's memory and later transferred to the farm computer.... Michael Naughton of Nielsen Keller-man said the company released the 1000 in 1999 with the intention of it being a tool for sailors and outdoor sports and weather enthusiasts. "Farmers are turning out to be a really big part of our business. The 4000 is really popular with them. We were surprised by the demand for little hand-held weather stations, "he said. 2, record 8, English, - hand%20held%20weather%20station

However, despite major policy reforms initiated by many LDCs to carry out a structural transformation of their domestic economies, and supportive measures taken by a number of donors in the areas of aid, debt and trade, the economic situation of these countries as a whole worsened during the 1980s. 1, record 9, English, - Substantial%20New%20Programme%20of%20Action%20for%20the%201980s%20for%20the%20Least%20Developed%20Countries

There are three types of zinced endings : A cone is formed from molten zinc poured into a mold in which a frayed rope end has been inserted; sometimes a ferrule is used as mold and stays on after pouring the zinc; or sockets are used instead of the ferrule. An open socket has ears to hold a pin and cotter. A closed socket has a loop or "bail. "Both are heavy forgings and find widespread use. All three zinced on endings need a good deal of preparation. The rope's end must be broomed out, cleaned with acid and straightened. Special endings : such as thimbles, clips, and clamps are quicker and easier to apply than a zinc socket, but efficiency is not as high as with other attachments. 3, record 12, English, - broom%20out

[This stitch] must be worked evenly and closely, with no loose top edge. Work from right to left and bring the thread through at right end of the upper line, pass it to the left and hold down with the left thumb. Insert the needle into the upper line a short distance from where it first emerged and bring it out on the lower line with the thread under the needle point. Draw the needle throught the loop and, using the head of the needle, pass it under the top edge of the stitch.(A Complete Guide to Embroidery, P. The Rosette Chain is a decorative line stitch, based on the Twisted Chain. Its texture is good for edging curved geometrical shapes such as a circle, or for outlining small flower shapes. It is attractive in white thread on a colored background and is useful for decorative purposes on objects that do not have to be laundered. (The Stitches of Creative Embroidery, J. Suppose you blindfold a man and ask him to hold out his hand, palm up. Now place a weight on his palm; he will certainly notice it. As you add more units of weight, he notices their addition too. But after his palm is carrying a good deal of weight, you can add just as big a weight as you did in the beginning, and yet this time he will reply that he is not conscious of any addition. In other words, the greater the total weight he is already carrying, the less will be the effect of an extra or marginal unit of weight. 1, record 19, English, - marginal%20unit
