Une autre affaire très intéressante où l'on a étiré la doctrine du sauvetage à l'extrême limite est l'affaire Urbanski v. Patel, où un père qui avait donné un de ses reins à sa fille en vue d'une transplantation a poursuivi le médecin dont la négligence avait rendu l'intervention nécessaire.
