Internal limiting membrane(ILM) abrasion is an alternative surgical technique for successful full-thickness macular hole(MH) repair.... Abrasion of the ILM with a diamond-dusted membrane scraper at the time of vitrectomy achieves high rates of MH closure. This technique avoids complete removal of the retinal ILM basement membrane and subjacent tissues and appears to provide MH closure rates similar to those of traditional ILM peeling. 1, record 2, English, - internal%20limiting%20membrane%20abrasion

En 1972, une lumière froide fut associée au vitréotome. La même année, O'Malley sépara les différentes fonctions en introduisant l'infusion isolée, avec une endo-illumination par une autre voie apportant un éclairage de bonne qualité. Triamcinolone acetonide was injected into the vitreous cavity, the remaining posterior vitreous cortex was stained and removed. [One] type of flute is a globular flute, also called a vessel flute. "Ocarina" is a common name for one of the most common types of globular flutes. Unlike their tubular flute cousins, globular flutes can be any shape, but still have finger holes and a blow hole, and are played in generally the same fashion as a tubular flute.... The physics of sound production is significantly different between tubular and globular instruments. In a tubular instrument, a vibrating column of air produces the sound. The length of this air column is the primary factor determining the pitch. However, the pitch can be modified by uncovering toneholes along the body of the instrument, which effectively shorten the length of the air column and raise the pitch. But with globular instruments, the shape of the air contained within the vessel is generally irrelevant to the pitch. It's the total volume of air contained in the vessel and the size of the opening that determines the pitch. 2, record 35, English, - globular%20flute

Box nets can be fished at any time in the daily tide cycle and with any frequency. [The fishing] procedure is as follows. The tie-back ropes on one end of the net are slackened; then, this end of the net is gradually hauled onto the ice through the fishing hole. As the net is hauled, fish are "shook back" from the trap into the bunt. The bunt is untied and the fish removed; the bunt is then retied. The tie-back ropes are tightened, hauling the net back into position beneath the ice. Tie-back ropes are secured. 3, record 72, English, - box%20net

2, record 72, French, - filet%20%C3%A0%20r%C3%A9servoir

Through-hole technology is the mounting process by which component leads are placed into the drilled hole of a bare printed circuit board and soldered to the pads on the opposite side. This can be achieved with either manual assembly or automated insertion mount machines. Through-hole mounting was the standard practice until surface-mount technology(SMT) debuted in the 1980s. 3, record 77, English, - automated%20insertion%20mount%20machine

The scratcher is a simple device, consisting of a band of steel that fits around a joint of casing, and stiff wire fingers or cable loops sticking out in all directions around the band (360-degree coverage). A scratcher resembles a bottlebrush, but its diameter is greater than its height. Importantly, for scratchers to be effective, the casing must be moved. This movement may be reciprocal motion in and out of the wellbore, rotary motion, or both. In general, the more motion, the better the cement job will be. 2, record 78, English, - scratcher
