The Ministère de l'Éducation, du Loisir et du Sport is mainly responsible for school age children and carries out this responsibility in its system during the school year. Parents can obtain a place at the reduced contribution--$7 a day--for childcare for a child of school age. The Ministère de la Famille, des Aînés et de la Condition féminine plays an auxiliary role with respect to children attending kindergarten or elementary school and who don’t have access to childcare services in a school day care environment. Childcare centres, subsidized day care centres and home childcare providers can use places they have available to receive children going to kindergarten or elementary school who don’t attend day care in their school. 1, record 1, English, - Programme%20de%20places%20%C3%A0%20contribution%20r%C3%A9duite%20pour%20les%20enfants%20d%26rsquo%3B%C3%A2ge%20scolaire

1, record 1, French, - Programme%20de%20places%20%C3%A0%20contribution%20r%C3%A9duite%20pour%20les%20enfants%20d%27%C3%A2ge%20scolaire
