Our mandate. The Violence Prevention Centre's mandate is to prevent violence through awareness-building activities and programs, by making everyone aware that violence exists. The Centre also seeks to ensure that the services it offers effectively meet the needs of victims and are provided in their home communities so that they have access to quality services in their region rather than far from home.
