StratSat provides a geo-stationary platform at 20 km altitude capable of remaining on-station for up to five years. Payloads include high speed Internet services, direct broadcast TV, mobile telecommunication, etc. The envelope operates as a super-pressure hull(i. e. with no ballonet pressure control system). The hull will be of laminated fabric construction with Tedlar/Teflon, helium/weather barrier developed from AT-10/04. Multiple catenary curtain system supporting a payload module enclosed completely by the envelope. [The] payload module... comprises a single structural module with an externally mounted payload/mission system. The payload module provides a home for all of the airship's primary systems except for the propulsion system. The systems are close packed within the highly insulated module ensuring efficient heat and energy management. The payload module is pendulum stabilised within the envelope. The solar array provides the sole source of renewable energy for the airship. The array is placed over the upper quarter of the hull and extends over approximately three-quarters of the length of the craft. The array can be realigned to the daily sun location/angle by the roll rotation of the whole airship. The energy collected by the solar array is stored for use during the night in the series of batteries. Located in the stored for use during the night in a series of batteries. Located in the payload module, the batteries run the propulsion system, airship services and provide power to the mission system for up to 14 hours(during winter). The airship is propelled and steered by means of a ’Contra-Rotating Coned Rotor’ mounted on a tailcone at the rear of the envelope, as a part of a compound propulsion system. The unit provides longitudinal thrust(to counter the prevailing stratospheric winds) and lateral force(for manoeuvering) to enable the airship to hold station within a 1 km cube. The airship will be equipped with a multi-channel Flight Control Sy 7, record 15, English, - StratSat%C2%AE

The oldest use is probably in cricket, where a hat trick is the dismissal by the bowler of 3 batsmen with 3 consecutive balls, for which the bowler apparently received a bonus of new hat. The term is widely used in hockey and soccer to indicate the scoring of 3 goals by one individual in a single game. Originally the hat trick was the scoring of 3 consecutive unanswered goals, but they need not be consecutive or unanswered to qualify as a hat trick today. The term has also been used of a jockey's riding a winner in 3 consecutive races or winners in an annual race for 3 consecutive years. A notable exception to the 3 successive performances which characterize a hat trick in other sports is its occasional use in baseball to mean that a player has hit for the cycle-a single, double, triple, and home run in one game.

Not just simple responses to an external stimulus play a role in instinctive behavior; instinctive activity involves sequences of behavior that run a predictable course. These behaviors may last seconds, minutes, hours or even days. Exemplifying this, we can refer to a particular species of digger wasp, which finds and captures only honeybees. With no previous experience, a female wasp will unearth an intricate burrow, find a bee, paralyze it with a careful and precise sting to the neck, pilot back to her discreet home, and, when the larder has been supplied with the correct number of bees, lay an egg on one of them and seal the chamber.... Overall, one of the main distinctive features of instinctive activity is the ability to react to an external stimulus the correct way the first chance(and every time thereafter) the animal receives. This feature distinguishes this particular behavior from what ethnologists call learned behavior, which scientists have discovered are actions that take place from conditioning an animal to learn the right way. 1, record 30, English, - instinctive%20behaviour

The Lunenburg Academy is the only intact Academy building surviving in Nova Scotia. Construction began on the building in 1894 and was haulted in 1895 when the company contracted to run the construction went bankrupt. Under the direction of Solomon Morash(whose home is another heritage building in Lunenburg), the construction was continued and the building was completed by late 1895. The building has an entirely wood structure and stands three stories tall. From its perch on top of Gallow's Hill the Academy can be seen from miles around and is claimed to be one of the most remarkable heritage buildings in the province. A sparge arm is another worthwhile brewery option. Although it does not actually save time, it does decrease the amount of effort you must spend pouring sparge water into the lauter tun. A sparge arm can be purchased ready-made, improvised from a shower head, or fabricated at home. One simple design is a perforated copper loop that lies on top of the grain in the lauter tun. It is connected to the hot liquor tank by food-grade tubing, and you control the flow of water from the hot liquor tank using a ball valve. Water is run through the copper loop onto the grain bed at a rate about equal to the rate of wort leaving the tun. 2, record 41, English, - rotating%20arm

Recoton develops breakthrough technology which transmits stereo sound through walls, ceilings and floor up to 150 feet. In June 1989, the Federal Communications Commission allocated a band of frequencies stretching from 902 to 928 MHz for wireless, in-home product applications. Recoton, a leading wireless speaker manufacturer, took advantage of the FCC ruling by creating a new speaker system that utilizes this frequency band to transmit clearer, stronger stereo signals throughout your home. You will be able to listen to your stereo, TV, VCR or CD player in any room of your home without having to run miles of speaker wire. The powerful transmitter plugs into a headphone, audio-out or tape-out jack on your stereo or TV component transmitting music wirelessly to your speakers or headphones. One transmitter, unlimited viewers.(En Route, Air-Canada in-flight magazine, June 1994, p. 24). 2, record 45, English, - wireless%20speaker

A form of softball for men and women with 10 players on the defensive team : 3 in the field, 3 on the bases, a pitcher, a shortstop, a catcher and a roover who is allowed to move anywhere though he usually plays in the area where the infield and the outfield meet. The game gets its name from the fact that the ball must be thrown 6 feet in the air by the pitcher; any ball so pitched without an attempt to strike it puts the batter out automatically. If pitched less than 6 feet high, it is declared "ball" by the referee; it takes 4 balls for a base on balls. Stolen bases on passed balls or otherwise are not permitted; the ball must be struck before a player on a base is allowed to run. The home plate is 18 inches by 4 feet. 2, record 47, English, - blooperball

1, record 47, French, - blooperball
