Video produced in 1992 by Kinetic Inc., Toronto, Ontario. This film is part of an educational package designed to help teenagers recognize dating abuse and confront unacceptable attitudes and behaviour. The clips follow a group of teens at school, at home, at the drama club and at a party to illustrate the escalation of boyfriends’ abusive behaviour : from the humiliating joke to violent physical and sexual attacks. An easy-to-follow guide suggests questions and role-playing exercises for each dramatized scenario.
