Le mot homewear ne figure pas dans le très respectable dictionnaire anglais, pas plus que dans le Littré. C'est du "franglais". Les Allemands l'appellent homedress, une création purement verbale. Le mot aurait-il plus de réalité que la "chose"? Car les professionnels savent que s'il y a des besoins homewear à satisfaire, la satisfaction tarde à se manifester avec ampleur ... Le point commun à ce homewear est d'être une tenue relaxe contrepoids à la vie survoltée; ou une tenue de charme contrepoids à l'ambiance trop sportwear de la rue; ou une tenue sophistiquée hyper "féminine".
