The gas state equation is hidden in many common everyday thermodynamic observations, like for instance in the weather forecast. It is used to calculate certain properties of gases, namely: Temperature (T), pressure (p) and volume (V). These properties together are called the state of a gas. The most common form of the gas equation is the equation for an ideal gas [that] is a gas consisting of point-like particles which do not interact with each other (ie, they do not stick together or repel each other). 3, record 12, English, - equation%20of%20state

A large number of such equations have been devised to apply equally to gaseous and liquid phases throughout a wide range of temperatures and pressures. Of these, the simplest is Van der Waal’s equation. In meteorology it has been found sufficient to use the equation for thermally perfect gases. 5, record 12, English, - equation%20of%20state

It is based on the principle that if two electrodes are inserted in the ground, and if an external voltage is applied across them, there will be a flow of current through the earth from one electrode to the other. If the medium through which the current flows is homogeneous in its electrical properties, the flow lines will be regular and, in a horizontal plane, symmetrical about the line joining the electrodes. Any inhomogeneities in these properties will cause distortions in the lines of current flow. Such distortions indicate the existence of buried material with higher conductivity than its surroundings, so that it attracts the flow lines toward itself, or with lower conductivity so that it tends to force the lines into the surrounding medium. 1, record 14, English, - equipotential%20line%20method

The purpose of the PREMIX [TM] Concrete Pre-Mixer by WAM [TM] is the creation of a homogeneous mixture of cement, additives and water able to evenly coat the aggregates. PREMIX [TM], which is installed before the truck mixer drum, highly improves the quality of concrete. Its special design, its revolutionary working principle and its particularly high efficiency add a new dimension to the process. The dry feed chamber houses a high speed feeder screw which feeds material into the mixing chamber where water is injected through three tangential nozzles. By the time the star reaches the main sequence, it is still chemically homogeneous. As time goes on and the hydrogen fuel in the core is converted into helium, the temperature slowly rises. If the star is sufficiently massive to have a convective core, the material in this region has a chance to be thoroughly mixed; but the outer region does not mix with the core. 1, record 28, English, - convective%20core
