Computational capability has been developed to calculate sensitivity coefficients of generalized responses with respect to cross-section data in the SCALE code system. The focus of this paper is the implementation of generalized perturbation theory(GPT) for one-dimensional and two-dimensional deterministic neutron transport calculations. GPT is briefly summarized for computing sensitivity coefficients for reaction rate ratio responses within the existing framework of the TSUNAMI sensitivity and uncertainty(S/U) analysis code package in SCALE. GPT provides the capability to analyze generalized responses related to reactor analysis, such as homogenized cross-sections, relative powers, and conversion ratios, as well as measured experimental parameters. 1, record 7, English, - generalized%20perturbation%20theory

The SCALE code system includes a sensitivity and uncertainty (S/U) analysis code package called TSUNAMI.

E. I. du Pont de Nemours & Co. has developed a novel approach to gain some of the advantages of a coextruded blow-molded bottle without the cost and complexity of multiple extruders and expensive scrap reclaim systems. Only minor modification of the basic equipment is required. A barrier resin is tailored for physical blending with a base resin in much the same way that colorant is blended with a resin. However, instead of producing a homogenized mix, the barrier resin is permitted to laminate in the base resin. Several random multiple layers of barrier resin of various lengths and sizes are created. Although no single layer completely covers the entire shape and surface of the bottle, barrier is created by the "tortuous path" the permeating gas must follow. A modified nylon material is the first to be used for this approach. Applications include fuel tanks and bottles for agricultural chemicals, thinners, and solvents. 1, record 13, English, - blended%20resin

Reconstituted milk is the product resulting from the recombining of milk fat and nonfat dry milk or dry milk with water in proportions to yield the constituent percentages occurring in normal milk. For this purpose various forms of milk fat such as butter, anhydrous milk fat, fresh or frozen cream and nonfat dry milk, dry milk, or concentrated milk may be used. The product is practically always homogenized. 2, record 18, English, - reconstituted%20milk

"heterogeneous" :(Latin, "different kinds"). Any mixture or solution comprised of two or more substances, whether or not they are uniformly dispersed. Common examples are such diverse materials as air(a mixture of 1/5th oxygen and 4/5ths nitrogen), milk, marble, paint, gasoline, blood, mayonnaise. In all such cases the mixtures can be separated mechanically into their components. "Homogenized" milk is as heterogeneous as regular milk, and the term is, strictly speaking, a misnomer. 1, record 19, English, - heterogeneous
