The secretion of honey or nectar by flowers. 2, record 3, English, - honeyflow
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
This definition of honeyflow is not found in the Webster's dictionary, for which "honeyflow" only refers to a supply or [to a] period of availability of floral nectar available for bees to convert into honey(in French :"miellée" for the former and "miellée" or "miellaison" for the latter). It might be an obsolete usage, replaced by the term "honeydew"(q. v., in French :"miellat"), which refers to the saccharine deposit secreted by aphids, scales and sometimes by a fungus that is found on the leaves of many plants. 1, record 3, English, - honeyflow

3, record 3, French, - miell%C3%A9e
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 2 CONT
Les abeilles sont friandes de miellée. 4, record 3, French, - miell%C3%A9e
Record number: 3, Textual support number: 1 OBS
