Free products and dissolved petroleum components from the surface of the contaminated aquifer are captured and treated via multi-phase extraction & treatment. Bioslurping induces a horizontal vacuum gradient on the targeted monitor/recovery wells through a slurp tube which is inserted into each well. Product and groundwater are entrained in droplet form in a high velocity air stream and brought to the surface for treatment. Following air/liquid separation the liquid phase is treated by a combination of oil/water separation, air stripping, and liquid phase carbon treatment before being discharged. The off-gas is treated(if necessary) by vapour phase carbon treatment. The advantages of multi-phase extraction & treatment include : a high product to groundwater extraction ratio; aeration of the vadose zone which enhances natural biodegradation of the hydrocarbon contaminants; all treatment components may be housed in a turn-key mobile remedial unit; a simple product recovery technology which can be transferred to conventional remedial applications such as pump and treat, sparging and vapour extraction system(VES) applications. Streaks or wisps of precipitation, such as water or ice particles, that fall from clouds but evaporate before reaching the ground. 6, record 8, English, - virga
Record number: 8, Textual support number: 1 CONT
Virga is frequently seen trailing from altocumulus and altostratus clouds, but also is discernible below the bases of high-level cumuliform clouds from which precipitation is falling into a dry subcloud layer. It typically exhibits a hooked form in which the streaks descend nearly vertically just under the precipitation source but appear to be almost horizontal at their lower extremities. Such curvature of virga can be produced simply by effects of strong vertical wind shear, but ordinarily it results from the fact that droplet or crystal evaporation decreases the particle terminal fall velocity near the ends of the streaks. Under some conditions, virga are associated with dry microbursts, which are formed as a product of the evaporation. 7, record 8, English, - virga
Record number: 8, Textual support number: 2 CONT
They are actually altocumulus clouds from which precipitation is falling. Such trails of water droplets or ice particles are called virgae (or sometimes fallstreaks) and, by definition, do not reach the ground. 8, record 8, English, - virga

Fall streaks are the wisps that can sometimes be seen falling below high, thin cirrus clouds. They are ice crystals that fall out of the cloud but evaporate as they fall into drier air below. Fall streaks are analogous to another phenomenon known as "virga," which is rain falling from lower clouds and evaporating before it reaches the ground. 11, record 8, English, - virga

Shading the space below the curve produces a shaded area--but not an area chart. For it to be defined as an area chart, the two plotting variables would have to be functionally related in some way. That is, it should be possible to express their relationship by an equation of some sort.... But regardless of the area shape, its value can be determined by the product of some vertical value and some horizontal value. This therefore relates the area to the name and calibration of the vertical and horizontal axes. 4, record 13, English, - area%20chart

Vertical case loaders. This method of case loading is used primarily in the beverage, glass, can, and plastic container industries, where fragile or irregular-shaped containers require some special packing considerations. As with the horizontal case packers, the product is delivered to the machine infeed conveyor from upstream filling equipment to the accumulator section.... When all lanes are filled in the accumulator area, a formed corrugated case is positioned underneath the loading mechanism ready for depositing. At that point, retractable shifter plates in the accumulator area move out allowing the containers to drop vertically through fingers into the cells of the case... 3, record 19, English, - top%2Dload%20packer
