Hormonal therapy is also known as hormone therapy, hormone treatment, or endocrine therapy. It is often combined with other cancer treatments... Hormonal therapy can kill cancer cells or slow their growth by using medications that stop the body's ability to make hormones, or change how hormones work in the body. The hormones are typically given by mouth(orally) or by injection. 3, record 1, English, - endocrine%20therapy

2, record 1, French, - endocrinoth%C3%A9rapie

Before finding out the ways that this disease manifests itself, it is important for you to have a background on the causes of severe anxiety. In general, the main sources of severe anxiety are either an unresolved emotional trauma, which leads to what is commonly known as post-traumatic stress disorder. It can also be caused by emotional underdevelopment, which leads to the incapacity to deal with stress, or it could also be rooted in physiological causes such as hormonal imbalances. 2, record 5, English, - severe%20anxiety

What is pyometra?... Pyometra is a secondary infection due to hormonal changes in a female's reproductive tract. Following estrus(heat), progesterone levels remain elevated for several weeks, stimulating the uterine lining to thicken in preparation for pregnancy. If pregnancy does not occur for several estrus cycles, the lining increases in thickness until cysts form in the uterus. This condition is called cystic endometrial hyperplasia. The thickened cystic lining secretes fluids, creating an ideal environment where bacteria can grow. 1, record 6, English, - pyometra

... an animal' s motivation... does not remain constant, but can be influenced by its hormonal state, how hungry it is, the time of day, preceding behavior, and many other environmental factors. In most patient with growth hormone(GH) secreting pituitary adenomas and clinically nonfunctioning pituitary tumors(NFPT) the intravenous injection of thyrotropin releasing hormone(TRH) augments the secretion of GH and subunits of gonatropin hormones respectively. Similar hormone responses to TRH have been detected in rat pituitary cell lines and primary human pituitary tumor cultures in vitro. Nevertheless the TRH effect on tumor hormonal secretion has not been well characterized. In the present study we examined TRH-induced hormone secretion in GH secreting tumors and in NFPT in vitro. Cultured cells secreted betaFSH secretion at 60 to 90 min, with no further increase at 34 h. TRH-stimulated GH secretion peaked at 90-120 min, and decreased after 3 h, but a secondary rise occurred after 24 h of incubation. Chronic daily exposure to TRH followed by an acute TRH challenge resulted in a further increase of GH secretion after one hour. 3, record 49, English, - thyrotropin%2Dreleasing%20hormone%20challenge
